Honeoye: At age 69, Elaine passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Hospeace house in Naples, NY.  She was born in Canandaigua, NY to the late Robert and Joyce (Mastin) Buck. Elaine is predeceased by her siblings James, Jack, and Nancy along with her niece Alisa Jo.  Elaine is survived by her son Erik, her sister Diana, her grandchildren Briona, Madison, and Austin, and her nieces and nephews: Bobby, Jamie, Christy, Andrea, Shaun, Trisha, Jack, and Dom, along with way more family and friends to mention.

Elaine was a devoted and hardworking woman who took great pride in everything she did. She dedicated 32 years of her life to LEDCO in Hemlock where her commitment and strong work ethic left a lasting impression. At home, she found joy in caring for her beloved cats Otis and Buck, and took great pride in keeping a beautifully maintained lawn that was the envy of the neighborhood. Elaine had a knack for finding hidden treasures while shopping for used clothing, a hobby she truly enjoyed. Above all, Elaine loved her family deeply and her greatest happiness came from the time spent with those she held close to her heart.

Groveland:  At age 96, Joyce passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at her home in Groveland.  She was born on August 10, 1928, in East Rochester, NY to the late Kenneth and Margaret Osterberg.  Joyce is predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank Wattles Jr., her son, Kenneth Wattles, and her granddaughter, Annette Deltoro.  Survived by her daughters, Kathy Koloseike of Lakeville, Carol (Benjamin) Deltoro of Groveland, Barbara (Michael) Allston-Busch of Hemlock, her brother, Curt Osterberg, her grandchildren, Kelly (Christopher) White, Melinda Erick, Nicole (Brendan) Brainard, Jeremy (Kirsten) Allston, and her 6 great-grandchildren, Sylvie, Beatrix, Camryn, Isabelle, Elliot, and Yeshua, along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Joyce enjoyed spending time with family.  She was a Girl Scout leader for many years and a co-founder of the Chili Art Group. Joyce received awards for her artwork and enjoyed helping others learn to paint.  She made quilts for her children and grandchildren.  She faithfully served in many roles over her 25 years as a member of Faith Fellowship Church.

Conesus: At age 82, Roger passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, April 4, 2025, at his home in Conesus. He was born on July 5, 1942, in Rochester, NY to the late Paul J. Damon and Geraldine Palma. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Michele F. Damon, and his daughter, Barbara Damon. Survived by his sons, Paul (Beth) Damon of Rochester, James Damon of Rochester, Michael (Michelle) Damon of Livonia, Christopher Damon of Spencerport, his half-brothers, Tim (Janet) Damon of Livonia, and Darryl (Jennifer) Damon of Naples, FL, his grandchildren, James, Jr., Sarah, Melanie, Nicolas, Aaron, Luke, Abbey, Jacob, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Alison, and Emily, his many great-grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Roger met the love of his life Michele at a school sock hop, after a few years of courting they went on to have a long and happy marriage and settled down in the Town of Gates where they raised 5 children. Roger joined the Gates-Chili Fire Department in 1969 and served as Lieutenant, Captain, and Battalion Chief at Gates Station 2 from 1978-1983. They moved from Gates to Conesus Lake in 1985 where he bought Michele her dream home on East Lake Rd. Roger retired from the Gleason Works in Rochester, NY in 2004 after over 42 years of service. 20 years as a Supervisor where his leadership was admired by all who worked for him. Roger and Michele became empty nesters and moved further south in 2005 to his current residence on East Swamp Rd to enjoy a quieter life of hunting, wood working and lazy days together. They loved to host family events at Camp Nomad. After his beloved wife Michele passed in 2010, Roger joined the Conesus Fire Department in 2011 where he served as a Fire Commissioner until 2016, he also served as a Director and Treasurer until 2021. He was most recently honored with Life Membership and spent a few years on the Fire Police Squad. Roger was a dedicated family man, husband, father and Firefighter. He was a faithful steward to the communities he lived in.

Longtime Livonia resident Gail L. White passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was a kind, caring wife, mother, sister, and friend who always put family first.

Born Oct. 15, 1947, to Francis “Red,” and Rosemary Fugle, the fourth of 14 children. She attended Hemlock and Livonia schools before marrying James A. White on May 30, 1964.

The couple lived in Altus, Oklahoma, Rochester, and Greece before building their first home in Livonia in 1971. They raised two sons, James and Brian – they were the lights of her life.  She supported their many activities and marveled at their personal and professional accomplishments.  

She was a bookkeeper for many years at Fugle’s Auto Parts followed by Linehan Hallmark at Marketplace Mall and Livonia Pharmacy.

An avid gardener, Gail took great pride in her colorful and abundant flower beds and enjoyed watching the birds at her feeder. Gail and Jim bowled in a doubles league at Brongo Bowl and Livingston Lanes for several years. She was also active at South Livonia United Church of Christ as well as being a Cub Scout den mother.

Gail was predeceased by her husband, parents, and brothers William, Steven, and Ronald. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law James and Leslie, and Brian and Mindy; and was extremely proud of her four grandchildren, Leah (Bashir) Khan, Alexander White, Joseph (Amanda) Syracusa, and Elizabeth White. Also, siblings and in-laws: Leila Fugle, Gloria Herring, Betty and Ron Sawdey, Roger Fugle and Norma Fuller, Gary Fugle and John Bayer, Roxanne and John Johnston, Kirk and Teresa Fugle, Larry and Karin Fugle, Chris and Tony Coniglio, Jeanie and Fred Yates, Judy and Jack Benedict, Jeff and Eileen Fugle, and Tracey Fugle and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Geneseo:  At age 65, Scott passed away at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a brief illness.  He was born February 7, 1960, to the late Alden and Teresa (Ghostlaw) Bashaw.   Predeceased by his sister Carol St.Ann and brother Lawrence Bashaw.

Survived by his son Scott J. Bashaw and his ex-wife/close friend Marylou Errico, sister Debbie (Tim) Miller. His brother from another mother Tom “Subby” Sobkowski, brother-in-law Reid St Ann, and close dear friends Ray and Colleen Henry, and his beloved dog Luna.  Numerous nieces and nephews as well as his extended family from the American Legion in Livonia New York and many coworkers from his many years as an Operating Engineer for T. Hartman Ent, Keeler Construction, and The Pike Company.

Scott was a very prideful and precise operating engineer and was known to be one of the best around when operating heavy equipment,  a CAT D 8 bulldozer being his favorite piece of equipment, whether it was a small parking lot or a large site development, it did not matter, he enjoyed his seat time in any piece of equipment (as long as it had heat or ac).   

Scott was known and loved for his large heart, and his selfless (yet sometimes grumpy) attitude. He would do anything for anyone at any time.  Scott was a great friend and was considered family to the many people he interacted with.

He loved to travel,  mostly to Alaska with his friends to visit extended family and to Alabama where his son lived and enjoyed working on projects around his home there together as well as fishing, and watching him play hockey since he was 6 years old.  He enjoyed an evening drive around the lake in his restored 69 Dodge Coronet RT and just sitting on his deck overlooking the lake with a Budweiser.

Scott was a proud and active member of the Sons of the American Legion and participated in many of their activities.   He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.

Scott will be dearly missed by many.

Honeoye: At age 76, Kathy passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at her home in Honeoye. She was born in Honeoye, NY to the late T. Arthur “Art” and Anne Marie “Ann” (Lacey) White. In addition to her parents, Kathy is predeceased by her husband, Stanley Rowley, and by her siblings, James, Dale, and Patricia. Survived by her sons, David (Cristina) Rowley, Mark (DeAnna) Rowley, and Matthew (Melissa) Rowley, her grandchildren, Jennah, Erika, Alexander, and Lindsey, along with 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Over the years, Kathy worked as an accountant at Sears, and a pharmacy technician for CVS. She was a dedicated employee and a supportive coworker. As much as Kathy loved her jobs, she would be the first to tell anyone that her most important, and favorite jobs were as a mother and grandmother. Kathy managed the chaos of three boys (four, counting Stanley) masterfully, with a combination of love, discipline, and her ever-present sense of humor. She taught her family that the most important gift you can give to anyone is your time, and your kindness. Her skill as a mother was only exceeded by her skill as a grandmother. Kathy’s infinite patience, love, and understanding provided her grandchildren with a place where they could be themselves without judgment or worry.

Kathy loved vacationing with her children and grandchildren in Cape Cod, and the Adirondack Mountains. Her love of those places shows in the fond memories of her family, who continue to vacation in the same locales.

Livonia: At age 43 and far too soon, Meghan passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY, after her courageous and hard-fought 2 ½ year battle with Cholangiocarcinoma. She was born at Highland Hospital on December 22, 1981, to Mark and Mary (Mullen) Schuster. Meghan is also survived by her loving and caring husband, Kenneth Nowicki, her sons, Owen and Isaac, who were the lights of her life, and her siblings, Dane Schuster, and Kimberly (Paul) Bielewicz, nephews and niece, Jacob (Kinzie Decker) & Tyler Schuster and Natalie and Zachary Bielewicz, paternal grandmother, June Schuster, and many other loving relatives, friends and co-workers. They will forever hold Meghan’s memory in their hearts and cherish the beautiful imprint she made on their lives.

Meghan grew up in Lima and graduated from Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School, Class of 2000. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Buffalo and spent her career as a dedicated medical technologist, at Sisters Hospital in Buffalo, RGH, and lastly, URMC. Throughout her life, Meghan inspired others to live life to the fullest giving it their all, as she did. She loved fiercely and laughed often – bringing those around her along for the fun. Meghan’s family was her world. She made the most of every opportunity and cherished each moment of being a wife and mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, and friend, of which she had many. Meghan loved traveling; visiting beaches and parks were her favorite. She, Ken, Owen, and Isaac, took a phenomenal family vacation last summer to the beautiful Grand Canyon, fulfilling one of her lifelong dreams. She made the best birthday cakes ever, depicting whatever theme her boys wanted. Gardening, growing plants and flowers, especially sunflowers were high on her list of favorite things to do along with being a foster mom to pups in need of a home.

In keeping with Meghan’s wishes, no formal funeral services will take place. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, which we will all share at her Celebration of Life Gathering, which will take place during the summer. Avon, NY: At age 39, Brandon passed unexpectedly on March 16, 2025.  He was predeceased by his grandparents:  Thomas Freeman, Kay Freeman, Joan Barrett, Bill Caufield, and Joelle’s grandfather Tom “Moose” Conine; also his favorite dog and best friend Duke.

Survived by his wife of 11 years, Joelle (Conine) Freeman, and children, Isabel Rose (his “Bugzie”) Freeman and Cole Christopher (his “Coley Moley”) Freeman; parents Thomas and Linda (Barrett) Freeman; grandfather Arthur “Papa” Barrett; siblings, Ashley (Steve) Comeau, Tommy (Katherine) Freeman; father and mother-in-law, Chris (Jennifer) Conine; brother, Colin (Samantha) Conine; nieces and nephews, Barrett, Cameron (Godson), Ava, Collin, Connor, Calum (Godson), and Beau (Godson.)  Also survived by many many other loving family and friends.

Brandon was everybody’s ‘go-to’ guy – reliable, hardworking and always willing to lend a hand. He excelled at everything he did – whether it was his work in construction, his ridiculous golf skills or expertly whipping the kids off the tube at Keuka Lake. But above everything else, the thing he did best in life was to be a husband, father, brother and son. He was fiercely loyal to his family and friends. He was a constant presence of love, strength and support in all of our lives.

He loved Joelle with his entire being. He cherished and deeply respected her as a wife, a mother and a person. They were friends well before they were married and it showed in the way they cared for and supported one another. But nothing brought him more joy than his two little nuggets, Izzy and Cole. Being their father was his greatest pride, and he embraced the role with endless love, patience and acceptance. Whether he was playing with them in the yard, dancing with them in the kitchen, or simply holding them close, he gave them his full attention, making them feel like the most important people in the world—because to him, they were. He filled their lives with adventure, laughter, safety and endless memories, always leading with kindness, gentleness, and a heart full of love.

Brandon was an exceptional athlete in high school and carried that determination into every aspect of his life. He attended the University of Utah and graduated with a Civil Engineering degree, and ultimately achieved the high honor of being a certified Professional Engineer. But you would never know it, because he was also the humblest person you would ever meet. Through hard work and dedication, he became a partner at Crane Hogan, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

At home, he loved to have a garden in the summer – but no one loved to stop at a farm stand more than Brandon to get his tomatoes for every meal of the day during the summer months.

He always had a project going – whether it was at his own home or literally ANYONE else’s house. He was the person you always called and he would drop whatever it was he was doing to come help you – and he did it with a smile on his face, and boy did that smile light up a room.

He was the kind of person that made life better just by being in it. He was our ‘Bunny’, ‘Smelly’, ‘Broski-von-joski’. He was our Brando. And we loved him with everything we had and we always will.

Livonia:  At age 96, John passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Mt. Morris, NY. He was born on April 29, 1928, to the late Clarence and Margaret (Donnelly) Tighe. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (Burger) Tighe; his brother, Charles Tighe, sister, Jean Tighe and brother-in-law, Gary Dunbar. Honeoye, NY:  David G. Roome was born on April 6, 1952, and passed on March 16, 2025, at age 72.  He was born in Canandaigua, NY to the late Roy and Ruth (Morrell) Roome.  David is survived by his daughter Lindsay Roome of Taos, NM, his partner of many years, Becky Holton of Honeoye, a sister Marlene (Mark) Thone of FL, a brother Roger Roome (Amy Smith) of Honeoye. Dave was also a father figure to Becky’s children, Michael (Kiki) Holton of Lima, Cory Holton (Billy Hubbard) of Fl, Tyler (Adrianna) Holton of Livonia, and was also “Papa Dave” to 5 of Becky’s grandchildren.

Dave graduated from Honeoye Central School in 1970.  Dave was a well-known figure in both Honeoye and Livonia.  He generously donated his time and resources to many community activities.  Dave was also a skydiver from 1972 until his daughter was born.  He was a dedicated baseball umpire from 1990, until now, and was inducted into the Genesee Valley Umpires Association Hall of Fame in 2021.  Dave founded and managed his company, Roome Technologies, of Honeoye for over 20 years before acquiring Old Hickory Golf Course in 2021, which became his passion.

Dave had many hobbies during his life: skiing, snowboarding, biking, baseball, golfing, boating, and many more.  He was a lifelong fan of the NY Yankees and the Buffalo Bills. Dave was well known for his generous spirit and his commitment to improving the lives of others. Dave was always pleasant to be around and good for a laugh. He will always be remembered as a man who always put others first, and whose impact will continue to resonate for many years to come.

Honeoye: Andrew passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born in Manchester, England, on December 5, 1950, to the late Roy and Patricia (Walker) Mills. Andrew is predeceased by his brother, Roger Mills, and his granddaughter, Shana Mills. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth (Ryan) Chapman, sons, Geoffrey (Sarah) Mills and Timothy Mills, grandchildren, Madison and Cooper Chapman, Evan, Aiden, Kristian, Skylar, T.J. Mills, and Taylor Rohr. Brothers, Christopher Mills, Peter (Leslie) Mills, and former wife of over 25 years, Donna Stone. 

You could often find Andy on the golf course, especially his favorite, the 19th hole. He cherished time spent boating and fishing on Honeoye Lake with his grandchildren. A skilled pool player, Andy was always up for a challenge, and he never missed the chance to watch Manchester United dominate on the pitch.

A proud veteran, Andy dedicated himself to serving his community, including his time as Post Commander of the Honeoye American Legion. He built his career with the United States Postal Service and proudly attended Cornell University. He was also the owner of the Shamrock Inn on East Lake Rd. in Honeoye.

His legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to family and service will always be remembered.

Retsof, NY – At the age of 91, Geraldine passed away peacefully at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Thursday, March 13, 2025. She was born on December 24, 1933, to the late Giro and Josephine (Scorsone) Mastrolio.

Geraldine was predeceased by her husband, Angelo V. Giglio, sisters, Phyllis Occhioni and Elaine Temperato, brothers, Arthur Mastrolio and Peter A. Mastroliio.

She is survived by her son, Gerald (Nancy) Giglio, daughter, Jody (David) Richardson, grandchildren, Michael (Jessica) Giglio, Jonathan Giglio and Jayden Richardson, great grandchildren, Jake, Layla and Ace Giglio, sister Donna Morgan, sister-in-law, Barbara Mastrolio, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Geraldine was a guidance secretary at the York Central School District for 26 years. She loved baking cookies to pass out to family and friends at Christmas time.

Jim worked for over 40 years as a supervisor at Kodak and spent an additional 5 years in finance at Gunlocke Corporation before retiring. In his younger years, he enjoyed camping with the “Krazy Kampers.” Later in life, Jim cherished family travel, especially trips to Old Forge, many cruises, and other adventures with his beloved wife. He also volunteered as a board member at the Little Lakes Community Center and looked forward to his volunteer Tuesdays at the American Wireless Museum in Bloomfield, NY.

Macedon/Avon:  At age 58, Scott passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.  He was born on February 15, 1967, in Rochester, NY to the late Robert and Dorothy Harrington.  Predeceased by his brother, Glen Harrington.  He is survived by his sons, Robert (Amanda) Harrington, and Sean Harrington, his grandchildren, Kayden Ruske and Vincent Harrington, and his siblings, David (Robin) Harrington, Daniel (Debbie) Harrington, Robin (Jeff Brisbane) Frew, Tom (Betty) Harrington, and Jim (Faye) Harrington, his close friends, Steve and Larry Blaker, along with several aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Avon: At age 70, Colleen passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2025, at her home in Avon, NY.

Colleen was born on April 18, 1954, to the late Robert and Ruth Hite in Provo, Utah. She moved to Avon, New York when she was young and resided in Livonia and Avon for most of her life. After staying home to raise her five girls, Colleen went to college at Finger Lakes Community College and Suny Brockport and proudly obtained her master’s degree in physical education.

She is predeceased by her daughter, Chelsea Hite-Vallone, and her brother Richard Hite. Survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, C. William “Bill” Vallone, her daughters, Kari Hite-Vallone (Tim Dombrowski), Megan (Scott) Pierce, Kirsten Vallone, and Britanee Vallone (Jeff Dos Santos), her grandchildren, Ashlynn Dombrowski and Maddison Pierce, her siblings, Robert (Patricia) Hite, Ron (Patty) Hite, Mike (Penny) Hite, Tom (Lorraine) Hite, Tim Hite, and Paula Schwartz, along with several, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Throughout her professional and personal life, Colleen wore many different hats. She devoted her life and livelihood to serving, teaching and helping others, but health and fitness were always her true passion. Colleen was a dedicated educator, coach, fitness instructor, and volunteer. She loved teaching her aerobic classes, whether it was a gym full of little ones at the Livonia Primary School or water aerobics to her ladies in York Central school pool. During the spring / summer months, Colleen’s spare time was spent caring for her vegetable and flower gardens. Her interest in gardening grew throughout the years and she completed her Master Gardener course a few years ago.

Colleen’s greatest joys and accomplishments were the love of her husband, and the gift of being a mom to her daughters and Grandma to her granddaughters. Her life always revolved around the girls; she was at every soccer and basketball game, concert, recital, birthday party, road trip and backyard party whether it was in NY, MA or CT. She truly loved watching her girls grow and shine.

Colleen’s life was marked by her deep faith and commitment to the Catholic Church, she was fiercely passionate about her faith. All you needed to do was walk into her house and you knew where she stood. She felt so blessed to be able to teach a class of four-year-olds about their faith at St. Agnes School in Avon, her alma mater a few years ago.

She is going to be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.

Honeoye – Lewis P. Levesque, 88, passed away peacefully on the morning of Friday, March 7, 2025, surrounded by the comfort of his beloved daughter, Amy Marie, and granddaughter, Lilyann, with his favorite country tunes.

Louie was born November 10, 1936, in Lyons Falls, NY to the late Joseph Adelard and Julia (Thibeault) Levesque. He grew up in the surrounding areas of Lewis County, NY before pledging four years of service in the U.S. Navy, serving proudly on the U.S.S Gainard (DD706). A dedicated community member, Louie had an accomplished career and life. Louie worked at Kodak for over 40 years, served as town justice in Richmond, NY collectively for 12 years, volunteered as a firefighter for over 60 years, and fostered over 100 children.

A beloved local figure, many Honeoye residents will recall him cheering for Honeoye athletic teams decades after his youngest graduated, an annual Easter egg hunt at the Levesque home that ran for 32 years, and regular sightings of Louie enjoying a cup of coffee or breakfast at local restaurants. Ever committed to service, Louie donated his body to the University of Rochester Anatomical Gift Program.

Predeceased by his son, Will, and his eleven siblings. Louie will be remembered by his wife, Patricia; his children, Amy Marie (James), Kara (Jonathan), Lee (Karyn), Amiee Elizabeth, Terri, Michelle and Shaun (Dave); his grandchildren Lilyann, Maddelyn, Jackson, Ellysa, Lee Philip Levesque II, Kristen, Madison, Emilia, Wesley, Maren, Theodore, Staisha, Troy, Cassity, Eli, MaKenna and Colette; and great-grandchildren, Haiden and Brooks. Louie will be missed at the annual Levesque family reunions held at Buck Lake in Forestport, NY by many surviving nieces, nephews and other family members.

Springwater – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen E. Swingle Sr., who departed this life on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Highland Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Wellsville, NY. He was 74 years old. Born on November 3, 1950, in Canandaigua, NY, Stephen was the beloved son of the late George and Emily (Bovee) Swingle. A devoted father, brother, grandfather, and friend, he leaves behind a legacy of love, ingenuity, and adventure.

He is survived by his cherished children: Sheila (Christopher) Gibbs, Tina Swingle, Stephen (Christina) Swingle Jr., and George (Lillie) Swingle. He was a proud grandfather to twelve grandchildren and a great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren. Stephen is also survived by his loving siblings: Marilynn Swingle, Judith (Brian) Gibson, James Swingle (late wife Donna) and his partner Bonnie Black, and Timothy (Debbie) Swingle, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A Life of Innovation and Passion

Stephen was a gifted engineer and designer, known for his expertise in laminating equipment. His ingenuity led to the development of specialized accessories that facilitated the application of magnetic strips to identification card systems used worldwide. His contributions to this industry left a lasting impact, reflecting his intelligence, creativity, and drive for innovation.

Beyond his professional achievements, Stephen embraced life with an adventurous spirit. He found joy in traveling, motorcycling, and snowmobiling, often sharing these experiences with family and friends. He also enjoyed visiting local Legion Halls, engaging in lively discussions about current events and politics, always staying informed and passionate about the world around him.

Those who knew Stephen will remember him as a brilliant and independent thinker with a sharp wit, a kind heart, and a steadfast loyalty to those he loved. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Geneseo:  At age 86, Terry passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025 with her family by her side at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY.

Terry was born on March 21, 1938 in New Philadelphia, Ohio to the late Carl and Ruth (Williams) Dawson.  She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth M. Book; daughters, Lorraine “Lori” (Linda) Book and Renee (Michael) Book Kleinhans all of Geneseo; grandchildren, Reese Kleinhans and Garin Kleinhans; brother David (Joy) Dawson of OH.  She is also survived by her niece Erin (Aaron) Holley, nephews Mike, Chris (Nancy) and Brent (Christi) Dawson, grand nieces, grand nephews, and loving friends.

Terry met her husband Ken at Kent State University and they were married in New Philadelphia in 1961. Their first big move was across the country to Tucson, Arizona. A few years later, they moved back to the Midwest and lived in several places in Indiana and Michigan. They finally settled in Geneseo, NY in 1980.  

Terry received her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from SUNY Geneseo while continuing to raise her two children. She worked part-time at Livonia Public Schools and as an instructor and clinical supervisor at SUNY Geneseo. She also served as the Director of the Speech and Hearing Clinic at SUNY Geneseo for many years before retirement. 

Terry loved horses, riding, playing tennis, waterskiing and gardening.  She will be forever remembered for her love of entertaining. She welcomed everyone to her home with a smile and an offer of something to eat and drink. Hosting Gourmet Club at her home or open houses on Christmas Eve were some of her entertaining highlights.  Her cinnamon rolls, buckeyes and apple pies were the best. 

Terry was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church in Geneseo and served as a Deacon who mentored the acolytes. Her joy in life were her grandchildren and she loved to take them to church with her and taught them how to serve as acolytes.  She was also a member of the Geneseo Garden Club for many years.

Honeoye: At age 70, Roy passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Ontario Center in Canandaigua, NY. He was born on May 13, 1954 in Rochester, NY to the late Arthur and Marilyn Rodway. He is survived by his partner, Debi DeGeorge, his daughters Krista Steinmetz and Patti (Jeff) Doran, his siblings, Sue Manning, Ronnie Rodway, Ray Rodway, and Glenn Rodway, his grandchildren, Brett Doran and Steven MacKenzie, along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Livonia:  At age 60, passed away peacefully at Theresa House in Geneseo on Sunday, March 2, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.

She was born on August 13, 1964 to the late Herbert and Patricia (Courtney) Standish, predeceased by her Aunt Lynda Standish. Beth is survived by her son Joshua Cox, sisters, Michelle (Dave) Northrup, and Stephanie (Domonick) Gallo, brothers, Scott (Sherry) Standish and Myles Standish, grandchildren, Alizay and Issac Cox and bonus grandson Hayze Hickman

Beth was generous, loyal, and brave. She was also strong willed and stubborn at times; but had an enormous heart. She will be remembered for all the heart she shared with her friends and family. She truly loved each of them; if you knew her, you knew it. Beth was a determined woman who would do anything for her family. When her time came, she carried herself with dignity and strength.

In Beth’s final thought she shared her pride for BOTH her son and grandchildren, and sincere thanks to her family and friends.
