This said, becoming a farm manager at Hainsworth Farms was a predictable outcome. For Chris, this role played more than an occupation for him, it formed a second family for more than 30 years.

Christopher Norbert Buckley was a beloved and devoted, son, partner, father, and uncle.  He loved his family more than anything and never stopped being a supporter. Chris dedicated years of encouragement to his daughters, as they participated in basketball, lacrosse, and soccer. Upon expanding his family unit to include Lori and her boys, the support system grew. Over the years, they have been able to celebrate countless accomplishments together.

Chris will be remembered as someone who took everything in stride and managed life’s ups and downs with confidence, ease, and a big smile.  In any forum, Chris lightened the mood with his sense of humor and the opportunity to engage in a spirited debate.  Chris was always someone you could lean on, making himself available whenever friends or family were in need. Pamala J. Vanskiver – October 10, 2024

Manchester: Age 57, Pam passed away on October 10, 2024, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. She was born on January 28, 1967. Predeceased by her grandmother, Alice (Fisher) Lincoln. She is survived by her husband, Ashley “Lee” Vanskiver of Manchester, daughters, Emilee Aaron (Devin Tylenda) of Wolcott, Sarah Beck (Kaine Lord) of Canandaigua, parents, Lou and Jeanette (Lincoln) Aaron, sister, Beth (Michael) Morath, and Louis (Joylette) Aaron—grandchildren, Daniel, Elorah, Maddy, Logan, and “future” grandson Hudson.

Pam didn’t believe in selfish advances such as money, possessions, fame, or reputation. She endlessly believed in selfless acts of kindness. Her aura shined with brilliance and positively influenced everybody around her. Every connection she made throughout her life was profound and significant in its own way. Her reach spread far beyond what you could imagine.

Pam’s occupations reflected who she was as a person. Whether it was her 16 years at Ontario ARC, her 14 years at The Villager Restaurant, or her time at FLACRA she helped and served the community in more ways than one. Camping, crocheting, and cake decorating were amongst her favorite things to do, but above all spending time with her family and grandkids meant the most to her. She will forever be missed and never forgotten.

Friends and family are invited to call from 12 PM to 2 PM on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 8624 Main Street in Honeoye, NY.  Pam’s Memorial Service will immediately follow calling. Please note, that the family is expecting the birth of Hudson in the near future and the date could change. To share a memory or a condolence, please visit: www.doughertyfuneralhomes.com
