  18. To Debbie, Jennifer and the entire Pero family: I am very devastated over the news of Jim’s passing. For one who folks think I have a way with words, I am shocked and stunned. It just seemed like yesterday I saw Jim, and thoroughly enjoyed our conversations about so many wide-ranging topics, including as Jim’s eloquently captured, history and politics. Please know that I cherished Jim’s friendship, support and encouragement over so many years. As I am sure you are experiencing right now, I am so heartbroken over Jim’s passing. All I can say is what I said in my eulogy for my late Mom in 2017, “Cherish every moment, because it will never come again.” Knowing you and your entire family, I know that you all did. Again, please accept my heartfelt and deepest condolences. All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

  19. So sorry for your loss. Lots of family memories of family get togethers when we were kids. Prayers to all. Rita and Jim Clar
