Groveland: At age 96, Joyce passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at her home in Groveland. She was born on August 10, 1928, in East Rochester, NY to the late Kenneth and Margaret Osterberg. Joyce is predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank Wattles Jr., her son, Kenneth Wattles, and her granddaughter, Annette Deltoro. Survived by her daughters, Kathy Koloseike of Lakeville, Carol (Benjamin) Deltoro of Groveland, Barbara (Michael) Allston-Busch of Hemlock, her brother, Curt Osterberg, her grandchildren, Kelly (Christopher) White, Melinda Erick, Nicole (Brendan) Brainard, Jeremy (Kirsten) Allston, and her 6 great-grandchildren, Sylvie, Beatrix, Camryn, Isabelle, Elliot, and Yeshua, along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Joyce enjoyed spending time with family. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years and a co-founder of the Chili Art Group. Joyce received awards for her artwork and enjoyed helping others learn to paint. She made quilts for her children and grandchildren. She faithfully served in many roles over her 25 years as a member of Faith Fellowship Church.
Friends and family are invited to call from 10-11 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Faith Fellowship Church, 5630 Pebble Beach Road in Lakeville, where Joyce’s Memorial Service will immediately follow at 11 AM. Interment will take place privately at Bath National Cemetery. I am sorry to hear of your loss. Your mom was a special lady who I enjoyed and deemed as wise when I was a young mother and we attended the same church. I am sure you have many memories.
