Springwater/Rochester: Phil was welcomed into Heaven on August 30, 2017. He was born on 7/1/1947. Phil was a master electrician with the Local 86. Predeceased by his grandson Trey Starks. Survived by his wife of 22 years Barbara Viruso and children; Philip (Dawn) Viruso, Kym Starks, John (Clarissa) Blakley, and Ben (Sandi) Blakley. Grandchildren; Ben, Sara, David, Michael, Reece, Erik, Billy, Nicholas, Gabby, Jonathan, Josiah, Mikayla, Harper, Chase, and Weston. Also survived by his brother Ken (Mary) Feicht, mother-in-law Nancy Nardozzi, sister-in-law Janice Osborn, many nieces, nephews, cherished family, friends, and his faithful dog Luke.
After living in Rochester for many years, in 2005 Phil fulfilled his dream and moved to Springwater, NY. He served on the Springwater Town Board, belonged to local rod and gun clubs, and Legion Post 905. He was a proud American. Phil loved the outdoors, hunting, riding his Harley-Davidson, and loved to travel. He loved Jesus, and served as an usher at Heart Cry Christian Fellowship.
A Celebration of Phil’s Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 23rd at 11am at Heart Cry Christian Fellowship, 7609 County Road 36, Naples, NY 14512. Please wear white or bright clothing as we rejoice his promised eternal life. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
