Andrew J. Mills – March 15, 2025

Honeoye: Andrew passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born in Manchester, England, on December 5, 1950, to the late Roy and Patricia (Walker) Mills. Andrew is predeceased by his brother, Roger Mills, and his granddaughter, Shana Mills. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth (Ryan) Chapman, sons, Geoffrey (Sarah) Mills and Timothy Mills, grandchildren, Madison and Cooper Chapman, Evan, Aiden, Kristian, Skylar, T.J. Mills, and Taylor Rohr. Brothers, Christopher Mills, Peter (Leslie) Mills, and former wife of over 25 years, Donna Stone. 

You could often find Andy on the golf course, especially his favorite, the 19th hole. He cherished time spent boating and fishing on Honeoye Lake with his grandchildren. A skilled pool player, Andy was always up for a challenge, and he never missed the chance to watch Manchester United dominate on the pitch.

A proud veteran, Andy dedicated himself to serving his community, including his time as Post Commander of the Honeoye American Legion. He built his career with the United States Postal Service and proudly attended Cornell University. He was also the owner of the Shamrock Inn on East Lake Rd. in Honeoye.

His legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to family and service will always be remembered.

Friends and family are invited to call from 4-6 PM on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 8624 Main Street in Honeoye, where Andy’s memorial service will take place immediately following calling hours at 6 PM.
