Conesus Lake/Avon: May 31, 2011 at age 79 years. He was predeceased by his wife Sally Scott Prince in 2003. He is survived by his devoted partner Dodie Twohig of Pittsford. Daughter Patty Prince of Bethesda, MD, and son Duff (Lynn Krauss-Prince) Prince of Irondequoit, NY. Grandchildren, Brian (Amanda) Prince and Nicole Prince.
Bud was born on November 10, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY to parents John Duffield Prince and Florence Traverts Prince. He attended the Rochester Institute of Technology receiving an Associates Degree and also the University of Rochester where he received his Bachelors. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Eastman Kodak Company in the Industrial Relations Department for many years. Bud had many friends around this area where he was known for his interest in photography.
The family will receive friends on Friday June 24, 2011 from 5pm-9pm at Peppermints Family Restaurant, 244 East Main St. (Rte 5&20) in Avon. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 6591 Richmond Mills Rd., Livonia, on Saturday June 25, 2011 at 11am. Father John Hayes will be the celebrant.
