To Becky and all Dave’s family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Dave was a great guy! We always enjoyed seeing him on Friday nights, smiling, laughing and visiting with folks at Old Hickory Big Foot’s Sports Bar. He will be sorely missed.
I have known Dave for 60 years, classmates, friends, fellow Yankee fans. Too many memories to share, however he introduced me to the industrial filter business in 1973 at Consler Manufacturing in Honeoye Falls, we both enjoyed very successful careers and we both started our own companies that were successful. RIP Mr. Roome!

I wish all of the family peace and also hope time heals you all from this huge loss. Dave was a man that helped me on several occasions doing next to impossible tasks despite it being difficult. I enjoyed his witty sense of humor with ball busting thrown in for good measure. This was a shocker to hear as well as a huge loss for Honeoye and Livonia.

I am very saddened by Dave’s passing. I have known Dave since kindergarten. He was a classmate of the class of 1970. We shared many fun times together. He was a wonderful person and will be missed by many! My heart goes out to Becky and the family! May you find comfort and peace!
Mary Schreib, I wanted to say i didn’t know Dave until he met my niece. I’ve never seen Rebecca so happy. The two of them did so much together. He was a great father and grandpa to those boys and grandbabies. He had such big heart for those he loved. Dave thanks for excepting Rebecca and her boys and showing them what real love is. I know you’ll always be watching over them. You’ll always be remembered .
We can’t say enough wonderful things about Dave. He was a very kind, caring, gracious, and supportive person of our community. He will be so missed by all. Thinking of you Becky and all the rest of the family in this difficult time.
Honeoye lost another great and giving person. He has truly made Honeoye and Livonia better places. It was an honor to know him and call him friend..
Honeoye certainly has lost one of the nicest and most humorous individuals. If you were picked on by Dave, it was his way of letting you know how much he liked you. He will be sorely missed. My condolences and prayers to family and friends alike in the days ahead.
My old neighbor , I use to watch him pack his parachute. His dad used to say when I asked him what you’re doing Roy he said Mildewin. RIP Dave
