Agnes (Keeler) Reed – December 3, 2018

Avon, NY:  Agnes (Keeler) Reed, 84, died peacefully surrounded by her children on December, 3rd, 2018.
Born to Jesse and Fay Keeler on June 27, 1934, Agnes grew up in Cohocton, NY with her sisters Helen Keeler Contos and Betty Keeler (Sick) Mehlenbacher.  Upon graduation she moved to Rochester, NY, where she worked at NY Telephone. Her dear friend Donna (Reed) Petrone introduced her to her lifelong friend and ex-spouse, Ronald Reed (d. 2003). They moved to Avon, NY where she spent the rest of her life. Agnes and Ronnie have four children, David (Beth) Reed, Colleen (Tom) Blackwell, Mary Catherine Reed (d.1963) and Robert (Kellie) Reed.

Agnes worked for Monroe Forgings for 10 years and JohnCox trucking for 25 years.
A Charter Member of the Avon Lioness Club, she enjoyed music, reading, going for long drives to see the sights, and keeping up with current events.

Agnes is predeceased by her parents, Jesse and Fay, her daughter Mary Catherine, her brothers in law Joseph Petrone, Patrick Reed, Gus Contos, John Mehlenbacher, sister in law Donna (Reed) Petrone, best friend Sylvia Kostraba, Ronald Reed, and son in law David Britt.

She is survived by her children, and her grandchildren, Jessica Reed, Paige and Kyle Langless , Jordyn Naylon, Jean-Paul Scott, Kevin Reed, Adam, Abby and Jack Erway, and great grandson Bennett Langless. She is also survived by dear friend Jacci Reed.
Agnes has many loved nieces and nephews, in-laws and extended family and friends.
Agnes was loved so well by so many, and loved them right back! Her kindness and affable nature made her a port in the storm for many in her family. She made everyone she came in contact with feel welcomed and loved. We will hold cherished memories of this beautiful spirit in our hearts.

James A. Reeves Jr. – December 3, 2018

Livonia/Geneseo:  Jim went to be with the Lord, and joined his wife Midge, on December 3, 2018 at age 77.  He is survived by his daughter Melody (Michael) Wallman; grandchildren & great-grandchildren; cousins, Joyce (Jim) Willard and Charles Higgins, and several dear friends and his faithful feline, Lucky.

Paul D. Millhausen ~ December 2, 2018

Canandaigua: peacefully December 2, 2018, at 78 years. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy Beahon Millhausen. Children, Mary (Kelly) Lincoln, Barb (Rick) Murante, David (Monica) Millhausen, and Sarah Presby; 8 grandchildren, Rob, Katie, Tyler, Daniel, Megan, Matthew, Justin, and Aaron; sister Ann Stewart; a large extended family and many friends.

Paul was born August 6, 1940, in Salamanca, New York to parents Paul A. and Florence (Wicks) Millhausen. He retired in 1999 after working over 30 years for the New York State Thruway Authority. Paul volunteered in the Canandaigua Mutual Hook and Ladder Fire Department and the early years of the Canandaigua Emergency Squad. While working for the Thruway in Albany he belonged to the Elsmere Fire Department for 11 years, serving as president from 1995 – 1997. He was an Elk member for over 50 years.

Paul had a great sense of humor with an infectious smile who had a positive impact on many lives. He enjoyed travels in his motorhome and campouts with the Good Sam Camping Club of the Finger Lakes. Paul looked forward to his Tuesday mornings with the “Lafayette Counter Intelligence Group,” gardening, watching NASCAR, making wine and brewing beer, talking politics, but mostly spending time with family and friends.

Kellner Butler Rodemerk “Kelly” – November 30, 2018

Honeoye Lake:  At age 61, Kelly passed away peacefully at the UR Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua.  She was born in San Jose, CA.  Kelly is predeceased by her father; Robert Butler and is survived by her husband of 20 years; Glenn Rodemerk of Honeoye Lake, her mother; Mary E. Butler of Florida, her sisters; Kristin (William Tarala) Butler of Connecticut, Karla (Steve) Melendy of Florida, her nephews; Kyle Melendy of New Hampshire, Kolin (Adam DeBois) Melendy of Florida, brother-in-law; Terry (Jan) Rodemerk of Florida, dear friends and her beloved cats.

Kelly relocated to Rochester, NY in the late 80’s with Wilson Associates, where she served 30 plus years in the office supply industry.  Gone far too young, Kelly had plenty of time to make her mark. She taught us how to give, in time, heart and financially.  She saw right from wrong clearly, and lived with no regrets.  Kelly touched so many with her sense of adventure, class and charm, and oh that smile. Rest in Peace pain free, our daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and friend.  You will be sorely missed. God Bless You.

Pamella M. Osinski – November 29, 2018

South Bristol/Honeoye:  November 29, 2018 at age 68.  Survived by her daughter Serena Darrah and siblings, Franette Staub and Frank Osinski.  Pamella was predeceased by her parents Frank & Martha (Wadecki) Osinski and sister Vicky Deats Todd who was with her when she passed.

 Beloved mother, loyal sister, devoted caregiver. Pam touched the lives of her many patients over a lifetime of dedicated nursing.  Volunteer and advocate for all in need, she was a fount of kindness, courage and mercy.  She left us unexpectedly. We are filled with sorrow and love.

Beverly C. Luther ~ November 26, 2018

Conesus Lake/Avon:  Bev passed away November 26, 2018 after a struggle with heart disease.  Predeceased by parents Leslie and Gerry Cole.  Survived by husband Thor “Luke”, their sons and daughters in law, David and Lisa, Mike and Kathleen.  Grandsons Josh and wife Courtney, Michael and Justin.  Great grandsons Slate and Clay.  Sister Margaret “Peggy” Stocking and brother Les Cole.  Several brothers and sisters in law.  Many nieces and nephews.

Bev or B’s was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great gran GG.  She had many life long friends and was especially close to the “Avon Girls”.  After 21 years as Avon Town Clerk she retired to Conesus Lake where she liked to watch the duck migration, changing seasons and relax with a good book.

Harold F. Barnard – November 22, 2018

Honeoye:  November 22, 2018 at age 83 years.  Predeceased by his granddaughter Jennifer Marshall and by his life-long love and best friend Marilyn VanHarken.  Harold is survived by his children; Randy (Susan) Barnard of GA, Julie Barnard (fiancé George Ballish) of Hamlin, and Bob Barnard (Cindy Robinson) of Honeoye; grandchildren, Devon, Ross, Jacob, Kristjana, Michael, Katie (Geoff), Leah, Jonah, Chrissy (Allen), and George (Sarah); many great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, and many friends in the Honeoye Community.

Harold was born on August 9, 1935 in Perinton, NY to Michael Jay and Helen (Farrell) Barnard.  He served our country in the US Army from 1953-1956 and was a devoted member of the Honeoye-Hemlock American Legion Post 1278 for over 40 years.  Harold was very proud and honored of traveling to Washington, DC with Honor Flight Rochester in 2015.  He also was a dedicated member of the Honeoye United Church of Christ.

Sara Louise Dobbin (Stokes) “Lou” – November 20, 2018

Conesus:  Sara Louise Dobbin passed peacefully at home on November 20, 2018 at age 90 years.  She was predeceased by her husband Larry Dobbin and siblings; Leroy Stokes, Jean Beck, and Estella Kerr.  She is survived by siblings; Walter (Floyde) Stokes, Nancy Milks, Jim Stokes, Mary Stokes, Ray (Kathy) Stokes, and Lawrence (Ann) Stokes; and many nieces & nephews including greats and great-greats.

Louise was born on August 6, 1928 in Apollo, PA to parents John & Nancy (Muir) Stokes. She worked at Kaddis Manufacturing in Rochester, NY for many years.  She attended Faith Bible Church in Honeoye and was loved by her family and friends.

Patrick S. McNamara “Paddy Mac” – November 13, 2018

Bloomfield:  Patrick passed away unexpectedly on November 13, 2018 at age 23.  He was born in Rochester, NY to his parents, Paul and Tina McNamara and is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Patrick was a class of 2013 graduate of Honeoye Central School, where he played soccer.  He was a member of the E36 East Coast Club and had a genuine interest in cars.

Karin Seuthe – November 13, 2018

 

Honeoye:  Karin, passed away peacefully with her family and friends by her side on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018 at age 81. She was born in Burg, East Germany and moved to Henrietta, New York in 1965.  After her retirement from The Eastman Kodak Company in 1992, she moved to South Bristol. Karin will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Bodo Seuthe, her son Thomas (Cabrina) Seuthe of Austin, Texas, and her grandchildren; Paige and Carter Seuthe.  She will be fondly missed by her brother-in-law Klaus (Margrete) Seuthe, her niece Verena (Tony) Parker, great nieces and great nephew; Megan, Allison and Ryan Parker.  

Karin enjoyed life to the fullest.  She always took time for her family and friends and saw the good in all things. She could spark a conversation with anyone, making them feel as if they have been friends for years.  In the summer, she enjoyed spending time at the Thousand Islands, relaxing, fishing and boatingKarin will be deeply missed by all; her warm loving spirit and kind heart will forever be remembered.

Ralph E. Henry – November 12, 2018

Hemlock:  Ralph passed peacefully at his home on November 12, 2018, surrounded by his family, at age 81.  Ralph was born in Richmond, NY on July 28, 1937 to parents Theodore and Onnolee (Purcell) Henry.  He was predeceased by his brother Theodore “Bud” Henry and sisters; Ruth Gladding, Laura North, and Marion Murray.  Survived by his wife of 58 years Gloria Sue (Harvey) Henry; son Kevin (Darlene) Henry; daughters, Laurie Muscarella (Mark Schlageter) and Linda Gascon; grandchildren, Randi (Patrick) Smalley, Taryn (Colin) Prue, Alicia, Raymond, Curtis and Ryann; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Athena, and Alexzander; brother-in-law Steve (Barb) Harvey and sister-in-law Glenda Farrell; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ralph retired from Getinge in Rochester, NY in 1999 where he was a Maintenance Machinist.  He loved to play cards especially euchre and in later years he played many games of rummy with Sue.  He loved animals and raised cows and horses for many years.  Ralph donated blood every 60 days for over 40 years as he always wanted to help others.  He built his own home, could fix anything, and was often called upon by farmers and friends in the community.  He fixed many homes in Hemlock and made himself available to friends and neighbors.  Ralph taught his family how to work hard and stay honest.

Jean S. Taylor (Stauber) – November 10, 2018

 

Conesus Lake, NY/Ruskin, FL:  Jean Stauber Taylor formerly of East Lake Road in Livonia died peacefully on Saturday morning, November 10, 2018 at the Belvedere Commons in Ruskin, FL.  She was born in Rochester, NY on May 28, 1932 the 2nd daughter of Sidney and Elva Stauber.  She was a longtime homemaker and widow of Robert K. Taylor also from Rochester.  She is survived by her sons Kirk Taylor of Ruskin, FL and Scott (Susie) Taylor of Cypress, TX; two grandchildren, R.J. and Lauren both of Cypress, TX; her brother Lee Stauber and sister Gale (George) Bagley all of Livonia, along with many nieces and nephews.

Lisa Ann Valone (Somers) – November 7, 2018

Greece:  Lisa went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2018 at age 37.  She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Budd & Eleanor Somers and her maternal grandmother Dorothy Cantin.  Lisa is survived by her devoted and loving husband and best friend Michael Valone; her parents Phil & Debbie Somers of Livonia and formerly of Spencerport; her brothers, Brian (Claire) of Penfield, Michael (Kristen) of Spencerport, and Christopher (Ashley) of Spencerport; nieces & nephews, Nicole, Ali, Haley, Drew, Caroline, Ben, Luke, and Jack; her grandfather Gerard (Vi) Cantin of Webster; mother and father-in-law Kathleen & David Schottler of Webster; brother-in-law Jeff (Jenn) Schottler &  sisters-in-law Aimee (Chris) Chappell and Jacki (Steve) Payne.  Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.  Lisa will also be missed by her furry kids Addie and Hans.

Lisa grew up in Spencerport, NY, the only sister that included a pack of three brothers. Her love of cooking was fostered at an early age and she carried that passion into adulthood. She loved the water and consequently became an avid swimmer and lifeguard in high school, enjoying many summers at the family cottage on Conesus Lake. Her mother Debbie, being a lifelong educator, instilled in Lisa a dedication to her own schooling. She followed in her father Phil’s accomplished footsteps and pursued her education at Xavier in accounting. Eventually she found herself back in Rochester to continue her career. She worked at several companies over the years until settling into a role working with her father. Lisa met Michael in 2011 and they soon became inseparable. Their love of their dogs and the outdoors were just some of the commonalities that led them to be united in marriage in 2014. Lisa became a valued member of the Rochester trail running scene, not only supporting Michael in his own running, but running many races herself. Despite a long battle with Crohn’s disease, Lisa was ever the caretaker, always watching out for her parents, brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She and Michael built a life together over the last seven years that will be cherished forever. She will be missed by so many.

Geraldine C. Schultz (Smith) “Gerry” – November 6, 2018

Conesus:  November 6, 2018 at age 74.  Predeceased by her husband Philip Schultz, her father Herbert Smith, mother Mary Heinsler, step-father Arthur Heinsler, and her sister Vivian (Neil) Gates.  She is survived by her children; Donna (Terry) Lawrence, Kim Maley, Philip (Tammy) Schultz, and Mark Schultz; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters & brothers-in-law, and dear friends.

Geraldine was born in 1944 in Rush, NY and attended Avon Central School.  She worked as a bus driver for 28 years retiring from the Avon Central School Transportation Department in 1998.  Gerry was a talented seamstress and worked at Valley Dry Cleaners for many years.  She sewed many zippers, letters for jackets, and made many alterations.  She loved to travel and had many adventures throughout the United States.  One of her greatest trips was visiting Yellowstone National Park as she had a great love of the Western US.  She loved to play euchre and spend time with family & friends.

Katherine H. Goethals “Katie” – November 4, 2018

Honeoye Falls/Rochester:  After a lengthy illness, Katherine died November 4, 2018 at Conesus Lake Nursing Home at age 93 years.  She was born in Eischeid, Germany on May 31, 1925 and was the only child of Peter and Anna Himpler Heister.  Katherine was a gifted musician and earned her Master’s degree at Eastman School of Music.

She is survived by her son; Gary (Shannon) Goethals of Honeoye, her daughter; Michelle Goethals of Honeoye Falls, four grandchildren, Daniel Miner Jr., Michael Miner, Katrina Miner and Garrett Goethals, along with several cousins.

Dale E. Loucks – November 3, 2018

Conesus:  Dale passed at his home unexpectedly on November 3, 2018 at age 72.  Predeceased by his parents John & Maybelle Loucks, brother John “Bud” Loucks, and sister Louise Loucks.  Survived by his devoted wife of 52 years Nancy (O’Laughlin) Loucks; sister-in-law Sandra Loucks; niece, Debra (Jack) Florack; nephews, Charlie (Mary) Loucks and Richard Loucks (Jennifer Colombo); several great nieces & nephews, many other loving family and friends including members of the Kapell and LaFrance families in the Cranberry Lake area, and many dear friends around the country including those in Arlington, TX (The Manion Family.)

Dale loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, boating and golfing.  He loved his home in Conesus and his new covered front porch. Dale loved to work on crossword puzzles and did many things in his life.  He was a buyer of raw materials for Tandy Brands of Arlington, Texas, and was a buyer for Western World in Arlington, Texas, which had over 50 stores.  He was a driver and dispatcher at the Arlington Cancer Center for 12 years.  While in Texas he was also a supervisor for the blue parking lot, season ticket holders, at the Texas Rangers Stadium.  Dale and Nancy also worked in the parking lot of the stadium for the 1995 All-Star Game.  After moving from Texas to Conesus, NY in June 1997 he was an exit greeter at Walmart and then a bus driver for Kemp’s Bus Service.  His routes were Holy Cross, Bishop Kearney, and Livonia Central School.  Dale retired in 2011 and enjoyed his family and his home in Conesus.

Friends may call on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 2-5pm at the Kevin W. Ricky H. Levesque – November 2, 2018

Bristol/Honeoye:  November 2, 2018 at age 53.  Predeceased by his father Gary P. Levesque.  Ricky is survived by his mother Shirley Levesque of Honeoye; brothers, Brad (Donna) Levesque of Ontario and Mike Levesque of Honeoye and his sister Karen (Eric) Kuhn of Honeoye; nephews, AJ (Brandy) Hauser, Benjamin (Renee) Hauser, Chris Nagy, and Josh Nagy; great nieces & nephews, Aeva, Kai, & Josie Hauser and Hailey Nagy.  Ricky is also survived by Kim Burrows, close friends Scott & Shannon Giali, and many other loving family & friends.

Rick was a avid snowboarder, liked hiking, and hiked many of the 46 Adirondack Mountain Peaks.  He loved and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and Nascar.  He enjoyed working around his house cutting and stacking wood.  Ricky just plain loved the outdoors!  He worked at Kodak for 20 plus years and was presently working for working for IGT in Rochester, NY.
