Geraldine C. Schultz (Smith) “Gerry” – November 6, 2018

Conesus:  November 6, 2018 at age 74.  Predeceased by her husband Philip Schultz, her father Herbert Smith, mother Mary Heinsler, step-father Arthur Heinsler, and her sister Vivian (Neil) Gates.  She is survived by her children; Donna (Terry) Lawrence, Kim Maley, Philip (Tammy) Schultz, and Mark Schultz; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters & brothers-in-law, and dear friends.

Geraldine was born in 1944 in Rush, NY and attended Avon Central School.  She worked as a bus driver for 28 years retiring from the Avon Central School Transportation Department in 1998.  Gerry was a talented seamstress and worked at Valley Dry Cleaners for many years.  She sewed many zippers, letters for jackets, and made many alterations.  She loved to travel and had many adventures throughout the United States.  One of her greatest trips was visiting Yellowstone National Park as she had a great love of the Western US.  She loved to play euchre and spend time with family & friends.

Friends may call Friday, November 9th, from 5-7pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree Street, Rte 20A, Livonia, NY where Gerry’s Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 10th, at 10am.  Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Livonia, NY.  Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Livingston County Hospice, 2 Murray Hill Drive, Mt.   1. Carnival sure was a lot of great fun ! The mini bike thing was the best of memories lol that was the craziest Love you Marion

  2. I remember the Lima firemans carnival years of parades, fire works. Hope you all remember the minibike handlebar episode. Then there were special road trips on the bus. You and uncle were always pretty close with mom and dad. Continue to watch over all. With love.
