Dr. Robert B. Campbell ~ January 6, 2016

IMG_0129

Geneseo: January 6, 2016 at age 59 years. Predeceased by his father Robert Campbell. Survived by his wife of 36 years, Kathy Campbell and children; Charity Campbell of Geneseo, Melody (Nathan) Ball of Geneseo, Robert Campbell of VA, and Josiah Campbell of VA; grandchildren, Jaeden, Johana, Levi, and Luke Ball; mother, Carole Brown of TX; siblings, Cindy Jenson, Sheila (Eddy) Hall, Cathy Volk, and Kari Beth. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Dr. Bob Campbell is affectionately known by many as, “PB”, which was short for Pastor Bob.
He is truly the best man, husband and friend someone could ask for. He was the father of four children and four grandchildren whom he absolutely adored. He was the best father and grandfather ever.

Pastor Bob served in the Marine Corp from 1974-1979. He has authored 13 books, several teaching manuals and recorded numerous audio teaching series. His favorite verse was Luke 10:19, ” Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” He was a passionate reader and learner and continuously researched books, articles and publications and had earned his Doctorate Degree. He was currently working on a book which discussed revolutionary findings concerning the human brain.

In 1993 Bob and his wife Kathy planted Harvest International Family Church in Geneseo, NY. Through their vision and pioneering spirit, it grew from a small store front church to a regional gathering place reaching nations. Bob loved to pastor the Harvest family. He always felt he had the best people the Lord could have given him. From being willing to use outside portable bathrooms while constructing the new building to having Live Stream set up to broadcast the ministry to the world, the people he pastored got behind his vision and helped work to make it happen. Pastor Bob was always a visionary and dreamer and The Lord gave him a group of warriors to help him along! Bob was relentless in his pursuit of Biblical Truth and no matter what the cost, he was committed to seeing people set free in all aspects of life. He particularly had revelation in the area of women in ministry and has helped to pioneer this truth and see it established in the church. He firmly believed that people can be anything God calls them to be and that there is no longer male and female but we are all one in Christ, and He practiced this belief. He never was apologetic about going against the tide in areas of Biblical worldview and freedoms because he was desperate to see God’s people operate in the fullness of His Word. Bob’s desire was to please his Father in Heaven and to see the Kingdom of God established.

In addition to his overseeing Harvest International Church, Bob started numerous ministries to include Ignited Ministries, One by One, Pool of Bethesda, and The DC Initiative. Through HIFC and these ministries, Bob walked out his passion for and calling to the nations and traveled to China, Ghana, Uganda, India, Hong Kong, Jamaica and numerous cities throughout the United States. Ignited Ministries has had impact in many regions, encouraging disciples of Jesus to be ignited and reignited with a deep love for Jesus and a willingness to do whatever God calls us to for His glory. Through One by One, orphans from India and Uganda are clothed, housed, educated and fed. The Pool of Bethesda is a school of healing that Bob developed which has seen countless people healed physically, spiritually and emotionally. The DC Initiative has seen great impact in our Nation’s capital and the Kingdom of God has advanced into the halls of government. PB’s vision was far and wide and leaves lots of work to be done in his stead.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 10th, at 3pm at Harvest International Family Church, 4647 Reservoir Road, Geneseo. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Ignited Ministries, 4647 Reservoir Road, Geneseo, NY 14454.
