Conesus: December 12, 2011 at age 85 years. Predeceased by her husband Robert J. Quinn in 1990. Survived by son Joseph Quinn of Geneseo and daughter Kati Quinn (Jeff McClelland) of Conesus. Grandchildren, Emily Sorrentino and Matthew Sorrentino and Great-Granddaughter Amara Monroe. Many Nieces & Nephews and friends.

Corrine was born in Rochester, NY on July 1, 1926 to parents Mr. & Mrs. John and Ellen (Green) Plum. She graduated from Marshall High School in Rochester, NY. Her life led her to the Livonia area where she raised her family and was a member of the Catholic Community. She was an animal lover her entire life. She loved her family, grandchildren, her great-granddaughter, and was known by many as Granny.

Bristol: December 4, 2011 at age 63 years. James was born April 8, 1948 in Rochester, NY son of Elmer and Constance Cuer Gresens. He was president of the MRB Group in Rochester, he loved hunting and baseball, especially the NY Yankees.

Millersburg, Ohio: Gerald R. Davis, 67 years of Millersburg, Ohio, formerly of Conesus, NY died Friday, December 2, 2011 in the presence of his loving family. He was was born, June 22, 1944 in Buffalo, NY, the son of the late Harold and Ruth Lockwood Davis.

He retired from Eastman Kodak Co. after 31 years of service to pursue a business interest in Charm, Ohio, with his significant other, Lynn Brown. Together, they ran a successful business named after his mother, called Ruthie’s Gift Shop.

While in Ohio, he enjoyed taking, long walks with Lynn and their dogs: Brutus, Quar, Casper, and Bucky. Especially enjoying for him, were the times when his kids and grandchildren would come for visits. His grandchildren, meant the world to him and he cherished the moments they spent together.

He is survived by his significant other of 18 years, Lynn M. Brown. Son and daughter-in-law Kurt and Dena Davis, grandaughters Jordan and Kaleigh; son, Mark Davis; daughter- and -son in law, Jill and Antonio Garcia, grandaughter Rebecca Miglietta; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Darci Davis, grandchildren, Riley and William; brothers, Barry, Donald, Arthur, Richard,and John Davis and sister Sharon Re.

Avon: November 25, 2011, at age 71, passed peacefully with his family at his side, after a long, brave struggle with cancer. Tony was born in Avon, January 26, 1940 son of James and Grace Cicero Tuchrello. He was a graduate of Livonia Central School, and a lifelong farmer in the Genesee Valley.

Livonia: Gordon F. Herington, 82 years, of Shelly Road, Livonia, NY died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia after a lengthy illness. He was born in Livonia, May 9, 1929 the son of Frank and Golda Beam Herington. Prior to retirement, he was employed by the Conesus Lake County Water and Sewer Authority. An avid hunter and sportsmen, he was a member of the Conesus Lake Sportsmens Club and was a trainor with DEC at their East Avon location. He also was a member of the Geneseo Aircraft Museum. Gordon married his late wife, Helen on October 16, 1948.

He is survived by his sisters, Ruth Ann Peck of Livonia and Jean Pierce of Lima. Several nieces and nephews. Many dear friends including Michael Bunce, Ron Sweet, Stephanie Seymour and Louis Celona.

Norm was also a former member of the Livonia Fire Department.

falkowski2Hemlock: Reginald J. “Roger” Falkowski , age 79, formerly of Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born November 14, 1931 in Elderon, Wisconsin, the son of Joe and Leona (Woytasik) Falkowski. Roger had retired from Dresser-Rand in Corning, N.Y. where he was an attorney. Roger was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and received his Law Degree from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a US Naval Officer veteran serving from 1953 – 1956 and remained in the Naval Reserves for several years following active duty.

Roger enjoyed boating, fishing, and hunting in his leisure. He spent much of his time reading, researching things of interest to him such as technology and science. He was an avid football fan, especially of the Green Bay Packers.

He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Leona Falkowski and brother, Eugene Falkowski of Kansas. Geneseo: Brett passed peacefully with friends and his companion on October 20, 2011, at age 82. Born in Bath, NY after serving in the US Air Force, he moved to New York City to enroll in the Robert Joffrey Ballet School in 1953.

He was an original member of The Joffrey Ballet. Danced with Radio City Corps de Ballet, Empire State, NBC Opera, New York City Centre Opera, couldn’t sing a note. Leaving New York City and taking a complete turnabout, Brett was trained as a tool and dye maker and worked in Buffalo and Warsaw, NY. His next career, he became an LPN at Wyoming Community Hospital; raised horses, and rode with the Genesee Valley Hunt for many years. He had a keen knowledge of art and antiques, a skilled stenciler, a marksman at black powder shooting, enjoyed gardening, and bonsai, and was at home in the kitchen. Brett was quiet and unassuming with a wicked sense of humor, a true Renaissance man of many skills. On August 29, he married Donald Holland, his partner of 51 years. Brett we miss you already.

Survived by his wife of 29 years Brenda, children; Megan Czapranski of Geneseo, Margo (Tony) Parsels of Canadice, and father Hugh Czapranski of Henrietta. Brothers; David (Eve Miles) Czapranski of LeRoy and Jimmy (Paulette) Czapranski of Henrietta. Grandchildren: Brianna Northrop and Natalee Parsels. Nieces & Nephews, Cousins, Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, and friends.

Ken will be missed by many people because he was such a kind and caring man to his family and friends. He always had a great sense of humor and had a large and loving heart. Ken worked at Harris RF communications for 36 years in the model shop. He was an avid hunter and fisherman since he was a child. He loved teaching his grand-kids how to hunt and fish. He loved taking Brianna hunting with him in his hunting shacks and teaching her how to shoot her bow and arrow. He loved taking Brianna and Natalee for rides on his tractor to mow the lawn, plow the garden or just for fun. Ken also enjoyed helping his neighbors especially on the farm and he loved going on hunting and fishing trips with his friends. Ken was a very easy going guy and will be missed greatly by many.

Robert L. “Bob” Watson – October 2, 2011

Canandaigua: Robert L. “Bob” Watson, 66, formerly of Honeoye, NY and Orlando, FL., passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Thompson Hospital Continuing Care Center as a result of complications from diabetes.

He was predeceased by his mother, Mary E. Treble Watson of Honeoye; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Mary Edna Treble of Honeoye; paternal grandparents, Fred and Mary J. Watson of Lima, NY.

Robert is survived by his father, Joseph of Honeoye; sisters Mary J Watson of Honeoye, and Rita (Harold) Rosser of Naples, FL.; nephew, Luke (Emily) Rosser & great-nephew Thomas Rosser of Darien,CT., several aunts, uncles & cousins. Also survived by friends from Honeoye, old Sigma Nu brothers from Stetson University & friends from Orlando, FL.

Robert earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in psychology from Stetson University in Deland, FL. He was employed by the State of Florida as a vocational rehabilitation counselor and worked for the Minnesota Twins organization, as a statistician and photographer. After retirement, Robert was employed at Universal Studios in Orlando.

Jean (Russell) O’Connor – September 16, 2011

Jean O’Connor of Geneseo, died September 16, 2011 at age 62 years. She was predeceased by father, Joseph Russell.

Jean is survived by her husband, Robert; her mother, Olive Russell of Prescott, AZ., several cousins, many dear friends including Allie & Bruce Donnan of York.
