Ken will be missed by many people because he was such a kind and caring man to his family and friends. He always had a great sense of humor and had a large and loving heart. Ken worked at Harris RF communications for 36 years in the model shop. He was an avid hunter and fisherman since he was a child. He loved teaching his grand-kids how to hunt and fish. He loved taking Brianna hunting with him in his hunting shacks and teaching her how to shoot her bow and arrow. He loved taking Brianna and Natalee for rides on his tractor to mow the lawn, plow the garden or just for fun. Ken also enjoyed helping his neighbors especially on the farm and he loved going on hunting and fishing trips with his friends. Ken was a very easy going guy and will be missed greatly by many.

Brenda and family, Our thoughts and prayers are with with you at this time and for the days ahead. It is hard to lose someone we love, but remember all the wonderful times you had and all the love that Kenny had for you. Cherish your memories and know that others are there for you always ready to help, to listen and to just be there for you and your family. Kenny will be missed.
I haven’t known Ken very long at Harris where we worked but I was always drawn to his quick smile and kind soul. He is missed. God’s grace and peace to his family and friends.
Brenda and Family,
I know you have heard many times what a great guy Ken was. It is so true – he was one of the most generous men I have known. For the last few years at work we had occasion to meet once a week for about a half hour. Every single time, even the last, he greeted me with his bigger than life smile, a hearty handshake and a “how ya doin?” He ended our meetings each time with the same and “have a good one.” After every session I felt better than before. We always talked about work stuff a little, but Ken and the guys keep the shop running so well issues are rare. We mostly talked about what was going on that week in our lives. He was a good listener and great storyteller. You all meant the world to Ken. His grandkids are so special to him – this was made clear when his eyes lit up as he talked about their latest adventure together and the things he enjoyed teaching them. It was easy to see the joy and pride he had for them.
Ken will certainly be missed by many. I am so thankful though to have had the chance to know him.
My prayers for peace go out for you.
John Smith (from posting 10) introduced us to Kenny when we were in our teens. My sister Sharon, Karen, Marlene and I were the Canadian girls John and Kenny were chasing….. Kenny visited Canada with John at his summer cottage, a place where we spent most of our summers. He was a wonderful person and truly very kind; he remains part of our greatest summer memories as teenagers. Our condolences and prayers are with your family during this sad time.
Guess I knew Ken about as long as anyone … We started school at William Gillette together, played baseball summer evenings until it was so late you couldn’t see the ball … We went to Jr. High at Carlton Webster, played side by side for the Freshman Football team … He picked me up everyday for High school in his Ford … We shared all the hopes, thoughts, and dreams that young boys do … He went with our family to Canada on vacation where we fished, skied, and chased the girls … We hung around the gas station waiting for him to get off work … Our family, and friends loved Ken Czapranski as did I … I was crushed Sat. when I heard the news !! … He left us great memories of him, and I will never forget him … Good bye my friend….. God Bless you. and your family.
Buddy! I’m already missing you. Remember the first day I started in the model shop and you showed me the ropes? How many years did we play golf together in the RF league and then out to Old Hickory w/ my dad? Fun times for sure. Damn that game, huh?! LOL And the pig roasts… Yours were The Best, buddy! My boys remember visiting the shop, but they remember you most by the pig roasts you did.
Brenda, Meghan, Margo and family members. Ken was such a special friend and human being and I know he was a good husband and father/grandfather. The world is certainly missing one of it’s brightest spots, but we all have so many special memories. My thoughts and prayers for strength are with you.
Kenny, you’re a great friend who I will never forget. I’m glad you and I had some time to reminisce this summer. Will always wish we had more. Some day we will…. I love you man!
Branda and Family,
We are so sorry for your lose, You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Ken was indeed a very special man. As my friend since High School, my Son’s Godfather and the best man at my wedding to David Ellwanger, we shared many good times. I will forever miss him until we meet again. Brenda, he loved you so, and I was very happy to meet you at our house with Faith & Greg. You are in out thoughts and prayers.
Tony, Margo and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys.
Brenda and the Family…. Ken was a great guy and this quote by R.W.Emerson says it all..
“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”
? Ralph Waldo Emerson
God Bless ….
Brenda and to All the Family of Ken Czapranski – I’ve worked for Harris a long time. Ken and I were talking a few months ago -about Life after Harris. We spoke seriously and Also, with a lot of Humor and Laughts too. I could see his wheels were just churning – he was excited. No one could have known, except the All Mighty – how it was to Work Out. As Kenn would say any day of the work week- “It just doesn’t get any better than THIS” – A truer Word -was never spoken. I was the fortunate person, to have met and spoke and laughed with Ken – The one, the only- Mr Wonderful. May God Grant You His Peace- One last thought-Ken was Always Grateful and So Happy, when-ever He spoke of His Family. My Prayers of Peace and Love-Are with You ALL. GOD BLESS
Tony & Margot,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys!!
