Gary D. Hatton – October 6, 2018

 

South Lima: Passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at age 70, at Strong Memorial Hospital with Anne, his beloved wife of 30 years at his side. Gary was born in Media, PA to the late Howard and Katharine Hatton. He is survived by his wife; Anne E. Hatton, his devoted brother; Ken (Sandy) Hatton of PA, his niece; Arlene (Jesse) Garman, his nephew; Randy (Lori) Hatton, his grand-niece; Abigail Garman and his grand-nephew; Luke Hatton.

Gary was a graduate of Penncrest High School. He worked as an instructor for Kodak for 18 years. Gary went on to start his own business, Gary Rich Associates, where he was a consultant for customer services, till his retirement. Gary has a gift of lighting up a room with his cheerfulness and making people laugh and feel good. Gary loved his Annie, family and friends, all things Irish, his Philadelphia Eagles, a fun day, and teaching.

At Gary’s request no formal funeral services will be held. Steven K. Thompson – October 3, 2018

Rush/Avon: October 3, 2018 at age 67. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Barbara (Scorsone) Thompson and children; Stephanie (Flynn) Burroughs DDS and Shawn (Deborah) Thompson; grandchildren, Ellyse, Callen, Brandon, Jonathan; siblings, Wayne (Jan) Thompson, Denise (Larry) Morrison, Mark (Gail) Thompson, Debra (Lucky) Hobson, David (Gail) Thompson, and Scot (Susan) Thompson. Also survived by many other loving family and friends.

Steven worked at Valley Sand & Gravel for many years and was an avid craftsman. He was also an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

A Memorial Service & Burial will be held privately by the family in the future at Pine Hill Cemetery, Rush, NY. Clifford R. Carll “Cliff” – October 1, 2018

Conesus: October 1, 2018 at age 81. Predeceased by his wife Frances Carll and his sister Dorothy Kemp. Cliff is survived by his sons; Ronald (Rene), Donald (Robbin), Thomas (Barb), Robert, Richard, Edward, and Kenneth; grandchildren, Colby, Justyn, Gillian, Emily, and Hayden.

Cliff was born on January 5, 1937 in Rochester, NY to parents Clifford & Madelyn (Washington) Carll. He proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps from 1955-1963. Cliff was a loving father to his sons and a devoted husband to wife Frances for over 50 years.

Cliff’s Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 20th, 10am at St. Severin Catholic Church, Rte 53, Drifting, PA. Burial will follow at St. Severin Cemetery, with military honors.
