CANANDAIGUA — Leonard F. Butler, formerly of Buffalo, N.Y. and Honeoye Lake, passed away on May 19, 2012, at the age of 91 years.
He is survived by his children, Robert Butler of Canadice, Debra Maynard of Boynton Beach, Fla., Linda Mancini of Akron, N.Y. and Edwin (Sharon) DeLong of Thornton, Colo.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
He was a World War II veteran and was retired from Nehi Bottling Company in Buffalo.

Elizabeth L. “Betty” Eberwein of Lakeville, May 19, 2012 at age 81 years. She passed away peacefully,with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband, Joseph of 63 years. Virginia G. Ashmead, 75 years, of Canandaigua, formerly of Greece and Honeoye,died May 16, 2012 at the Hospeace House in Naples, NY. She was born in Rochester, NY, July 11, 1936 the daughter of Carlton and Dorothy Herm Gould. She served as an elder in the Greece Presbyterian Church, belonged to the Greece Choral Society, and the Fingerlakes Choral Society. Virginia sang solos in many area churches. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of East Bloomfield. Predeceased by her son, Jamie & and daughter-in-law, Jean. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas G. Ashmead. Conesus: Donald J. Webster, 83 years, of Greenmount Ave. Dansville, NY formerly of Conesus, NY, died Friday evening May 4, 2012 at his residence. He was born in South Livonia, NY, January 31, 1929 the son of George and and France Griffin Webster. He was married to Marian Sharpe on November 6, 1948. For 25 years he worked a farm on Turkey Hill in Conesus and and the went on to be the Director of Weights and Measures for Livingston County until his retirement at age 55 years. During his retirement years, Don and Marian spent every winter in Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Marian; son, Kevin (Ann) Webster of Port Charlotte, Florida; daughter, Debbie Webster of Taberg, NY. brother, Francis “Corb” Webster of Jamestown, NY. 6 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren. several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sons, Todd and Steve Webster.

Robert L. Stanton, 61 years of Pennsylvania Ave. Avon, NY died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Strong Memorial Hospital after a brief hospitalization. He was born in Rochester, NY, March 27, 1951 the son of Harold and Catherine Cavanagh Stanton. He was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School in Greece, NY. Buck was a self employed, well established, automobile wholesaler and was a member of St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church. He was predeceased by his son Todd and his mother, Catherine.

She was born December 24, 1936, in Mendon, NY the daughter of George and Ruth Perkins Reeves. She graduated at the top of her class from Alfred Technical University in 1956 with a degree in business after graduating Valedictorian from Victor Central School in 1954. She married Lee E. Semmler on June 15, 1957, her husband of 36 years. He died April 30, 1993.

She is survived by 4 children, Stacy (Scott) Jesse of Lakeville, Marc (Patti) Semmler of Livonia,, Scott Semmler of Roanoke, TX, and Todd Semmler of Conesus. 5 granddaughters, Jennifer,Amanda, Michelle, Brittany, and Sara. NAPLES: Flora M. Fisher, age 94, passed away peacefully at the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua on Thursday, April 5, 2012, with her family, loving nurses and aides at her side. Flora was born on February 10, 1918, and was the daughter of Harry and Sylvia Ball. Flora was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Frederick Fisher; eight sisters and three brothers. Flora is survived by her daughters Jean F. Seager of Fairport and Lu Stevens of Lund, B.C.; two grandsons, Paul (Katy) Schwingle of Naples and Andrew (Linda) Stevens of Victoria, B.C. She is also survived by two sisters; Anna Marie (Art) Fisher, Mabel Payne, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Flora loved being outside. She treasured the time with her grandsons and when they were young explored with them the wonders of the great outdoors. Flora especially liked walking in the woods looking for wild flowers and animals of any kind. Flora’s other hobbies included refinishing furniture, chair caning, painting on antique trays, ceramics, and knitting.

Flora was the ultimate caregiver – listening, advising and comforting anyone in need. Flora took great joy in being a positive light for others. Flora will be remembered by many as an avid cook whether it was pies, breads, canned goods or delicious meals for anyone who showed up.

A memorial service for Flora will be held on April 28, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Lucey-VanVoorhis Funeral Home, Inc., 301 West Main Street Victor, New York 14564.
