Robert L. Stanton, 61 years of Pennsylvania Ave. Avon, NY died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Strong Memorial Hospital after a brief hospitalization. He was born in Rochester, NY, March 27, 1951 the son of Harold and Catherine Cavanagh Stanton. He was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School in Greece, NY. Buck was a self employed, well established, automobile wholesaler and was a member of St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church. He was predeceased by his son Todd and his mother, Catherine.

Buck is survived by his wife, Beth; his children, Morgan and Bryce; his father, Harold; sister, Cathy Johnson and brother Tom (Audrey) Stanton. his mother-in-law, Janet. Sisters-in-law Lisa & Donna. Several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Friends may call Wednesday 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. Routes 15 & 20A, 21 Big Tree St. Livonia. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. John H. Hayes on Thursday at 11 AM at St. Matthews Church, Route 20A, Livonia. Burial, St. Michaels Cemetery.
