Livonia: Unexpectedly on August 19, 2014 at age 51 years. Predeceased by his father Clarence Ohle in 1989 and his sister Pixie Ohle in 2011. Survived by his wife of 31 years Connie Ohle. Bill was born on January 6, 1963 in Pittsburgh, PA to parents Clarence and Mary (Kleber) Ohle. Bill lived life to the fullest. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, and son. A skilled handyman, coach, teacher, and friend, he will be missed by many. Bill was an electrician and a proud member of IBEW Local #86 for 31 years. He was a design manager for Billitier Electric.

Dansville/Port Charlotte, FL: Marian R. Webster, 84 years, formerly of Conesus, NY, died Sunday morning August 17, 2014. She was born in Springwater, NY, May 11, 1930 the daughter of Giffford and Myrtle Agard Sharpe. She was married to Donald J. Webster who preceeded her death in 2012.

Ward A. Gray “Red” was born at home in West Sparta, NY on April 26, 1933 to parents Glenn and Blanche (Kemp) Gray. He is predeceased by his parents and 3 siblings; Walter Gray, Willard “Rusty” Gray and their sister, Jean, who died as a child. Red was a life long hunter and fisherman….he loved the outdoors. He was a past member at the Dansville Fish & Game and also a past member of the Power’s Inn. Red was a janitor at the Groveland School before it centralized to Geneseo. He then was a welder at Foster Wheeler in Dansville for many years. He loved to teach kid’s to fish anywhere but especially the pond at his house.

Margaret was born in Hemlock on June 22, 1933 to the parents of Gordon and Dorothy Hoppough. She was a 1950 graduate of Hemlock High and earned her bachelor’s degree at Geneseo State Teachers College, Geneseo, New York. She was a kindergarten teacher at the Honeoye Central School. She also was a librarian at the Honeoye Public Library and Richmond Town Historian. Margaret was on the Honeoye Public Library Board of Trustees for many years as well as a member of the Honeoye-Richmond Historical Society.

Lakeville: August 4th, 2014 suddenly at age 76 years. Survived by his wife Valerie, children: Graham, Leigh (Brad) Marshall, grandchildren: Jack, Colby, Tyler Marshall all of Livonia; sister-in-law Jean Swann of Geneseo, and many relatives in England. Predeceased by brother George Povey of England.

Roy was born in 1938 in Dagenham, England and served in the Royal Air Force. Roy and family immigrated to Livonia in 1975. He worked as a mechanic at General Motors and retired to Conesus Lake in 2000. He enjoyed sailing, snorkeling, tennis, NY Yankees, English Football, and most of all his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Ocala, FL/Honeoye, NY – Bob Vincent Rowley, 67 passed away at home, August 3, 2014. Born December 28, 1946 in Canandaigua, NY to Phillip J. Rowley and Irene Mastin Rowley, he moved to Marion County in 1994. He was a Real Estate Broker, General Contractor, Thoroughbred Breeder, former rodeo judge and retired cowboy.

He is survived by his loving wife of sixteen years, Laura Ann Simpson Rowley; daughters Bobbi (Brad) Starling and Jenn (David) Ramsdell; sisters Gail (Doug) Meier and Lorraine Boyd.; grandchildren Amanda, Grant, Jake Starling, Taylor, Rebekah and Shayne Ramsdell; and great-grandson Kenton Floyd.

Linda Wilson married Michael Chenaille on December 20th, 1975. They raised three children in Perry, NY. Al was born on March 18, 1915 in Rochester, NY to parents Frank & Ella (Krause) Dummer. He was a graduate of the University of Rochester. He served his country during World War II as a captain in the US Army. He was the general manager of Heinrich Motors in Rochester, NY for many years.

Al dearly loved his family and his cocker spaniels. He spent many happy years boating on his favorite place on earth, Conesus Lake.

Leicester: July 20, 2014 at age 80 years. Predeceased by her husband, former Livingston County Sheriff, Richard A. Kane in 2007, son Richard W. Kane, her sister Jane (Anthony) Radesi, and her parents Howard & Mary Roffe. Survived by her daughter Mary Jane Kane-Hoskins of Leicester. 2 granddaughters; Karly Hoskins of Rochester and Alyse Hoskins of Boston, MA. Petite in size, but with an enormous heart, Pat touched everyone who knew her. She worked for many years as a customer service representative, first for Pavilion Natural Gas then RG&E. After retirement, she devoted her unending energy to her family; day trips with Dick, spending time with her granddaughters, shopping with her daughter and lunches out with her sisters were some of her favorite things to do.

Al served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. A love of the outdoors and nature were his greatest joy, a reflection of his Native American heritage.

Don was a US Navy Veteran and was a retiree of Rochester Telephone Co. Devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend to many.

Donald D. Windsor was a man of strength, wisdom and integrity. He was married to his true love Jane Ruth for almost 64 years. Together they had six children, who brought meaning to and completed their lives together. Don was known as a hard worker, a compassionate husband, loving father, and very dear friend. Over the years Don enjoyed raising his children and watching his grand children and great-grandchildren grow. He spent many years devoted to the Catholic Church, Rotary and giving back to the community in any way he could. His most cherished memories come from traveling with his beloved Jane all over the world. There was nothing he couldn’t fix, and nobody he wouldn’t help. Remembering his sense of humor, tender heart, and tight hugs is what we will carry forever. He taught us how to love and how to be loved, the true meaning of devotion and loyalty. We will never forget you. Until we meet again my angel, rest in peace.

Canadice: July 4, 2014 at age 78 years. Survived by his wife of 58 years Marie (Leary) Lindsay and children; Colleen (Greg) Doudt of CO, Steve (Julie) Lindsay of Canadice, and Diane Lindsay of Farmington. Grandchildren; Brandon Doudt, Ashley Doudt, Andrew Lowe, Matthew Lowe, Benjamin Lowe, and Amy Friduss. Brothers; Dale Lindsay of Rochester, Dennis (Jo) Lindsay of WA, and Kevin (Laurie) Lindsay of SC. Nieces & nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Gene was born in Rochester, NY on July 6, 1935 to parents Gordon & Carolyn (Litz) Lindsay. In the 1970’s Gene and Marie moved to Canadice, NY where he ran his own welding & fabrication shop at their home. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and boating.

Mary Ann Minnehan – July 2, 2014

Rochester, NY: Passed away on July 2, 2014 at age 85. Predeceased by her husband Gerard Minnehan, Father (Charles) and Mother (Virginia), sister (Virginia) and Aunt (Margaret) Murphy. Survived by her children Ed, Tom, Terry, Michael, Ginger (Tony) Gadawski, Shawn and three daughter in laws; Susan, Cheryl, and Lori. She is survived by seventeen grandchildren and two great-grand children.

Mary Ann was the daughter of Charles and Virginia Murphy, a prominent Rochester defense attorney, and one of the original Kodak models. She graduated from Livonia, class of 1947, and attended Nazareth college. Mary Ann was a pioneer in the woman’s business world, entering the work force in the early 1960’s. Retired as the first female vice president of a national insurance company, Sedgewick James. In the 1970’s she was the national chairman of the woman’s task force for Aetna. She continued practicing until she was 82. Mary Ann loved spending time with her grandchildren at her homes in Stuart, Florida and in Rochester, New York. Starting in a golf league in 1960, she had an avid passion for the game until the final days of her life. She was a member of Latta Lee, Lake Shore C.C. and Brockport C. C. She enjoyed her time on the boards of St. Joseph’s Villa, and Holy Cross parish council. Mary Ann loved her friends, family and her community. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family members.

Her memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY 14612, Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 9:30 AM. Donations may be made in Mary Ann’s honor to Holy Cross Church.
