Lakeville: August 4th, 2014 suddenly at age 76 years. Survived by his wife Valerie, children: Graham, Leigh (Brad) Marshall, grandchildren: Jack, Colby, Tyler Marshall all of Livonia; sister-in-law Jean Swann of Geneseo, and many relatives in England. Predeceased by brother George Povey of England.

Roy was born in 1938 in Dagenham, England and served in the Royal Air Force. Roy and family immigrated to Livonia in 1975. He worked as a mechanic at General Motors and retired to Conesus Lake in 2000. He enjoyed sailing, snorkeling, tennis, NY Yankees, English Football, and most of all his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Ocala, FL/Honeoye, NY – Bob Vincent Rowley, 67 passed away at home, August 3, 2014. Born December 28, 1946 in Canandaigua, NY to Phillip J. Rowley and Irene Mastin Rowley, he moved to Marion County in 1994. He was a Real Estate Broker, General Contractor, Thoroughbred Breeder, former rodeo judge and retired cowboy.

He is survived by his loving wife of sixteen years, Laura Ann Simpson Rowley; daughters Bobbi (Brad) Starling and Jenn (David) Ramsdell; sisters Gail (Doug) Meier and Lorraine Boyd.; grandchildren Amanda, Grant, Jake Starling, Taylor, Rebekah and Shayne Ramsdell; and great-grandson Kenton Floyd.

Linda Wilson married Michael Chenaille on December 20th, 1975. They raised three children in Perry, NY. Linda was proud to be called Mae by her 6 Grandchildren; Tephanie, David, Katlyn, Alyssa, Andrew, and Austin Chenaille. She adored her 2 Great Grandchildren; Abigail and Gauge Chenaille. Al was born on March 18, 1915 in Rochester, NY to parents Frank & Ella (Krause) Dummer. He was a graduate of the University of Rochester. He served his country during World War II as a captain in the US Army. He was the general manager of Heinrich Motors in Rochester, NY for many years.

Al dearly loved his family and his cocker spaniels. He spent many happy years boating on his favorite place on earth, Conesus Lake.

Petite in size, but with an enormous heart, Pat touched everyone who knew her. She worked for many years as a customer service representative, first for Pavilion Natural Gas then RG&E. After retirement, she devoted her unending energy to her family; day trips with Dick, spending time with her granddaughters, shopping with her daughter and lunches out with her sisters were some of her favorite things to do.

Donald D. Windsor was a man of strength, wisdom and integrity. He was married to his true love Jane Ruth for almost 64 years. Together they had six children, who brought meaning to and completed their lives together. Don was known as a hard worker, a compassionate husband, loving father, and very dear friend. Over the years Don enjoyed raising his children and watching his grand children and great-grandchildren grow. He spent many years devoted to the Catholic Church, Rotary and giving back to the community in any way he could. His most cherished memories come from traveling with his beloved Jane all over the world. There was nothing he couldn’t fix, and nobody he wouldn’t help. Remembering his sense of humor, tender heart, and tight hugs is what we will carry forever. He taught us how to love and how to be loved, the true meaning of devotion and loyalty. Rochester, NY: Passed away on July 2, 2014 at age 85. Predeceased by her husband Gerard Minnehan, Father (Charles) and Mother (Virginia), sister (Virginia) and Aunt (Margaret) Murphy. Survived by her children Ed, Tom, Terry, Michael, Ginger (Tony) Gadawski, Shawn and three daughter in laws; Susan, Cheryl, and Lori. She is survived by seventeen grandchildren and two great-grand children.

Mary Ann was the daughter of Charles and Virginia Murphy, a prominent Rochester defense attorney, and one of the original Kodak models. She graduated from Livonia, class of 1947, and attended Nazareth college. Mary Ann was a pioneer in the woman’s business world, entering the work force in the early 1960’s. Retired as the first female vice president of a national insurance company, Sedgewick James. In the 1970’s she was the national chairman of the woman’s task force for Aetna. She continued practicing until she was 82. Mary Ann loved spending time with her grandchildren at her homes in Stuart, Florida and in Rochester, New York. Starting in a golf league in 1960, she had an avid passion for the game until the final days of her life. She was a member of Latta Lee, Lake Shore C.C. and Brockport C. C. She enjoyed her time on the boards of St. Joseph’s Villa, and Holy Cross parish council. Mary Ann loved her friends, family and her community. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family members.

Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Margaret “Peggy” Treble, devoted children; Kevin (Karen) Treble of Colorado Springs, Jody Sidlauskas of Hemlock, & Lisa Wells of Avon. Bert was born in Honeoye on July 24, 1930 to parents Arthur & Mary Edna (Ace) Treble. He was predeceased by four sisters:Althea (Michael) Bilous, Doris (James) Cochrane, Mary (Joseph) Watson, Joyce (Ezra) Barrett and brother Arthur Ace Treble. He was a 1948 graduate of Honeoye Central School and earned his bachelor’s degree from Bradley University, Peoria, IL, in business administration and retailing. He served his country in the US Army from 1952-1954 during the Korean War. He was a charter member of the Honeoye Lake Rotary Club, past Trustee of the Lakeview Cemetery Association, former Town of Richmond Councilman, member of the Honeoye United Church of Christ, member of the Eagle Masonic Lodge where he achieved the position of District Deputy Grand Master in 1974, past Commander of the Honeoye-Hemlock American Legion Post, and member of the Honeoye Chamber of Commerce.

HONEOYE — Jeanne Wright Angelo (Kilian) passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014, at home, with her family by her side, at the age of 73. Jeanne fought a valiant battle against cancer. Jeanne was predeceased by many loved ones, including her sisters, June O’Dell, Janice Wright and Joyce Coykendall; and brothers-in-law Thomas Angelo and H. W. O’Dell. Jeanne is survived and cherished by her husband of nearly 45 years, Ralph F. Angelo Jr., Richmond town supervisor; daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Fritz Kilian of Webster and their four daughters,Tessa, Teagan, Telaney and Tallyn; son and daughter-in-law, Ralph K. and Megan Angelo of Honeoye Falls and their four children, Dilan, Drew, Luke and Shaye; brother, Verne Wright of Mobile, Ala.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jack Coykendall, Frances (Wally) VanDeBogart, Rachel (Vic) Thayer, Annie (Donald) Schunk, William Angelo, Ricardo Angelo, Jake Angelo and Kathi Czebatol; many nieces and nephews, including Kelly Bailey who provided tender care in her final days and hours; and many special friends, including her partner in crime and longtime friend, Bonnie Sykes.

Jeanne was born in Bristol and was the daughter of the late Fred and Myrtle (Morrill) Wright and raised by Keith and Dahlia Pierce. She moved to Lima with her aunt and uncle when she lost her mother at the age of three. She graduated from Lima High School in 1959, then Grove City College in 1963. She taught math in Angola, Bloomfield and most of her career in Honeoye. She was a well-loved math teacher, class advisor and bowling coach. She was a president of Womens Republican Club of Richmond and Canadice. She also was a town clerk, town council woman and water district and fire district secretary in Honeoye. Her ultimate joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was the kindest, most generous, selfless person you could meet and she will be greatly missed. Jeanne’s family would like to thank Dr. Dirk Bernold of Interlakes Oncology and Hematology for his tireless effort and care.

He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, was very mechanical, and could fix anything.

Joe was born on October 9, 1949 in Rockville Center, NY to parents Nicholas & Marion (Murray) Fischer. Joe graduated from St. Joseph’s, Long Island, NY in 1963, Sachem High School in 1967, and SUNY Geneseo in 1971 where he received his English teaching degree. He began teaching in West Irondequoit High School in 1972. Joe was a dedicated and gifted teacher and brought humor, motivation, and adventure into the classroom.

Joe was a fun, life-loving Irishman with an awesome sense of humor, a great laugh, and a love of teaching, music, literature, and drama. Joe was a member of the “Mutt Men” which was a group of friends from elementary school that he stayed in touch with over the years. In high school, he had leading rolls in productions of “Harvey” and the “Death of a Salesman” and also toured with the high school choral group. Joe went on to have lead roles in “Spoon River Anthology” & “Seamark” productions. He sang beautifully and started the BLACK VELVET BAND, directed many student plays, and participated in plays for Rochester Community Theater. He also coordinated and developed programs for the Irondequoit Radio Curriculum, as well as doing voiceovers for WXXI. As a member of the Irondequoit Teachers, he helped plan and write for teacher celebrations; birthdays, retirements, and holidays. The only one he didn’t was “his retirement party!” Joe was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend to many.

Winifred R. Woodruff “Wynne” – June 17, 2014

Conesus Lake: June 17, 2014 at age 87 years. Survived by her husband John M. Woodruff, who served as a long time administrator at Jamestown High School. Children; Dr. J. David (Linda) Woodruff, Gary (Mary) Woodruff, Mark (Lani) Woodruff all of Livonia. 11 Grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, brother Ronald (Marilyn) Heffernan of Henrietta, and several nieces & nephews.

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Aunt, Sister, Neighbor and Friend. Wynne was truly loved by everyone who knew her. She lived a long beautiful life filled with devotion to her family and friends. Her gentle voice and soft touch will be missed by all. Married for 69 years to John Woodruff, they raised three boys. Dave (Linda), Gary (Mary), Mark (Lani). She enjoyed 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Besides her family, she loved the lake, her bridge club, and playing dominoes on the porch while the sun set over the lake. Not many can think of McPherson’s point without fond memories of “Winnie”. We will cherish these memories forever, and carry her with us in our hearts. Her strength was infinite, her smile contagious and her spirit will live on through us all. Rest in peace, beautiful.

Laura Mae Kingsley – June 15, 2014

Honeoye: June 15, 2014 at age 74. Predeceased by her sister Virginia Connors. Survived by her daughter Teresa (Aran) Heaney of Belfast, NY. Grandchildren; Aidan, Owen, and Finn Heaney. Nephews; Mike (Juanne) Connors of WA, David (Meretta) Connors and Mark Connors all of Honeoye. Several cousins and faithful friend & neighbor Pat Swingle.

Laura was born on January 22, 1940 in Canandaigua to parents Floyd and Dorothea (Jerome) Kingsley. Laura was predeceased by her father in 1945. Dorothea went on to marry Claude Dragt, who became a loving step father to Laura and provided her with a much loved sister, Virginia (Dragt) Connors. Laura graduated in 1958 from Honeoye Central School and held a variety of jobs in the Rochester area until 1970, when daughter Teresa was born. In 1974, Laura moved back home to Honeoye. She is retired from the 3M company where she was employed in both the Honeoye and Rochester plants. After her retirement from 3M, she was employed at Honeoye Central School as a bus driver until illness forced her to retire in 2008. Outside of work, Laura enjoyed working in her yard, knitting and crocheting and spending time with family. Some of the happiest days in her life, were the past 11 years since she became a grandmother. “Granny Laura,” as she fondly became known, loved and doted on her grandchildren above all else and was happy any time she could be with them for special events, holidays, travel and everyday occasions. Her illness brought her to live in Belfast with her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Aran, along with the grandkids, and she lived out her days surrounded by their love and care.

Friends may call on Friday, June 20th, from 4-7pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 8624 Main Street, Rte 20A, Honeoye. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 21st, at 10:00am at the Honeoye United Church of Christ, 8758 Main Street, Honeoye, NY. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Honeoye. Geneseo: June 14, 2014 at 37 years. Survived by her daughter, Justine Kalous of Geneseo; her parents, Roger and Frances Carpenter of Avon; siblings, Joanne Carpenter of Honeoye, Lisa Carpenter of Genesee Falls and Roger Carpenter, Jr. of Avon. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins.

Cora left this world unexpectedly and she will be missed by many. She was a good friend with a giving heart.
