Jill M. Owens ~ June 2, 2022

Lima: On June 2nd, Jill O’Coyne-Owens was called home by the Good Lord. Jill was first and foremost a beloved mother and sister and will always be remembered as a caregiver to all, which was her chosen profession.

Jill’s love of life extended to many facets, but none trumped anything more than her love of family and her many friends, which are too many to count. Those who were fortunate enough to be loved by Jill are, but not limited to her daughter; Nicole Stefano (Chris Smith), her bonus children; Amy (Chad) Parks, Melissa (James) Atkin, Michael (Kathy) Stefano, Kara (Pedro) Stefano-Cuello, Shane Owens, her granddaughter; Charlotte Smith, her sisters; Sandy Loudin (Jason Witt), and Deborah (Mike) Mulligan, her partner and best friend; Howard Stumbo, with several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Jill loved the sunshine, her kitties, bon-fires, the ocean and writing poetry. Her love of shoes was something that those who loved her only knew about. Jill was a voracious reader, constantly exploring new novels that absorbed her soul.

Jill has left our physical presence; her soul has left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to be loved by her forever.

Rest in peace Jill.
