Groveland: April 27, 2009 at age 70 years. Fordyce A. “Ford” Thiele of Bath Road in Groveland died early Monday morning at his home, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Rochester, New York August 23, 1938 and was a self employed painting contractor.

Ford is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughters, Mary Thiele of Livonia, Michele (Missy) Thiele of Florida, Kasi (Jason) Castrovinci of Livonia. sons, Austin E. Thiele, at home, Michael (Tobi) O’Duffy of Conesus. 2 grandchildren, Malory and Brett Bridges. 6 step-grandchildren. sister, Harriet Rivers of Florida. brother, Richard (Anne) Thiele of Livonia. uncle, Charles McMaster of Henrietta. Several nieces and nephews.

Mary Jeanne Connell – April 23, 2009

Avon/Livonia: Mary Jeanne Connell, 87 years of Sycamore Drive in Avon, formerly of Livonia and Honeoye Falls died Thursday April 23, 2009 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. She was born December 20, 1921 in Rochester,NY the daughter of Raymond and Martha Yahn Connell. She was a retired employee of Gleason Works. She was predeceased by her sister Bernice Wolf and very dear friend Merel Bedworth.

She is survived by her brothers and sister-in-law, Raymond and Patricia Connell of Livonia and James and Anne Connell of Livonia.her dear friend, Bill Anderson of Avon. several nieces and nephews.

Charles A. D’Angelo Sr. – April 21, 2009

Charles A. D’Angelo,Sr. 83 years of 3163 West Lake Rd. Geneseo,NY (Town of Livonia) died late Tuesday evening at his home, surrounded by his family.
Chuck was born in Avon, NY November 16, 1925 the son of Anthony and Josephine LePome D’Angelo. He was a World War 2 Army veteran who saw military action in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Lakeville Fire Department and its Exempt Club. Chuck also served on the Town of Livonia Planning Board for over 30 years. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Joslyn (Pinco) in Lima, NY.

He is survived by his wife, Florence Woof D’Angelo; children, Charles (Sandy) D’Angelo,Jr. Laurie (Rick) Bennett, and William (Pam) D’Angelo all of Livonia. 4 grandchildren, Kristine and Jeremy Secor, Patricia and Eric Schmid, Samantha and Jess Bennett. Brother, Lawrence (Carolyn) D’Angelo of New Port Richey, FL and Mary (Howard) Brisbane of Lima. several nieces and nephews.

Conesus: Eleanor M. Hummel, 76 years, of Federal Road Conesus died Monday April 20, 2009 at FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. She was born in Rochester, NY, November 23, 1932, the daughter of Alphonse and Mary Anne VanStreader Roets. She was predeceased by her husband Melvin Hummel and her son Dale Roets.

She is survived by her sons, Alan Roets of Avon and John (Beth) Hummel of Lima. 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandson. Her sister, Betty McMaster of Rochester; Her brother, Robert VanStreader of Dansville. several nieces and nephews.

Eugene A. Nycz – April 16, 2009

Eugene A. Nycz, 90 years, of Gullick Road, Honeoye, NY died Thursday April 16, 2009 at FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, where he had been a patient since April 4. He was born in North Tonawanda, NY Novemebr 15, 1918, the son of Anthony and Jospehine Szcpepka Nycz. Gene was a World War 2 Army Veteran, a retiree of the North Tonawanda Fire Department and a member of its Benevolent Club. He also was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Honeoye, the Honeoye Exempt Club and the Honeoye-Hemlock American Legion Post. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Piwtorak Nycz.

He is survived by his brother Richard Nycz of Matthias, NY. His caregiver and dear friend, Colleen M. Barber of Hemlock. several nieces and nephews, also many dear friends.
