Rochester: Dianne passed away at her home surrounded by her family, at the age of 87. She is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Catherine Marmas, husband Raymond VanDeusen, daughters Melissa Revilla, Judith Gillis, Cathleen DeRoller, brother James Marmas, son-in-law Bryan DeRoller. Survived by her daughters, Sharon VanDeusen, and Susan (Ken) Goodman, son Timothy VanDeusen (Marci), and son-in-law, Steven Gillis. ( 14 ) grandchildren, (20) great-grandchildren, and her beloved grand puppies Samson and Bella.
Dianne lived a very full and exciting life, from pony racing to being Mother Nature to hundreds of Cub Scout campers. She worked in home hospice for Visiting Nurse Service, a job she truly loved.
She was adored by not only her own children and grandchildren but the friends they brought around her, she was truly everyone’s mother. Dianne loved the beaches of the Outer Banks and the wild horses that inhabit them, she was even a sponsor for one of the wild mustangs that roam Carova Beach.
Family and friends may call on Friday, September 27th, from 10am-12pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree Street, Rte 20A, Livonia, NY. Dianne’s service will immediately follow calling at 12pm. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery, Big Tree Road, Livonia, NY.
