  1. I am so sorry to hear of Gwen”s passing! She was in my Penfield class of 1969. Always sweet, always quiet. Gail, this must be terribly difficult for you. I know how close you always were! So terribly sorry.

  2. Robert,so sorry for your loss.Gwen was a kind and loving person. We will miss not seeing her and Brody walk by and visit our dog,Chasmin. We pray for you and your family. God bless, your neighbors,Chaz and Suzy at 5129 old Westlake rd.

  3. To Bob, Gail, and Gwen’s family:

We are deeply saddened by the news of Gwen’s passing. Her vibrant laughter and story sharing will be greatly missed. Gwen had met Joshua a few times at the University of Rochester when he was just a young boy. In honor of her memory, we would like to share Joshua’s violin performance of Gluck’s arrangement by Kreisler: Mélodie, Dance of the Blessed Spirits.

This piece portrays the poignant melody of Orpheus, the legendary musician from Greek mythology who ventured to the underworld to plead for the return of his beloved wife, Euridice.

While we may wish we could do more, we find solace in believing that Gwen is watching over us from above, smiling down upon us.

    With heartfelt sympathies,

    Jeff, Yaling, and Joshua
