Canadice: At age 81, Nancy passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital. She was born in Sodus, NY to the late John and Anna Ekkebus. Nancy was predeceased by her son; Ronald Bryant. Survived by her beloved husband; Charlie Bryant of Canadice, her children; Raymond (Sheila) Bryant of Bloomfield, NY, Linda (Daniel) Fox of Conesus, NY, Susan (Jack) Holmes of Canadice, NY, Nancy (Darin) Thomas of Allentown, PA, her daughter-in-law; Jeanette Bryant, her grandchildren; Timothy Bryant, Missy Bryant, Erica (Tom) Case, Ann (Chris) McDuffie, Marie Bryant, Lacey (Zack) Fox-Smith, Jacob (Shawnee) Fox, Allison Holmes, Mac Thomas, Ben Thomas, Abbey Thomas, and her great grandchildren; Elise, Morgan, Ella, CJ, Brianna, Norah, Derek, Maeve, along with her dog Zinnia.
Nancy was very proud of her Dutch heritage. She loved knitting, her plants, playing rummy with her kids, baking, her smart phone and playing Words with Friends. Loved her wonderful husband of 62 years who cared for her ever so dearly.
A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 2 PM at the Canadice Methodist Church, 5945 Canadice Hill Road in Springwater, NY. I met Nancy on Facebook like a few years ago and she chatted with me and played games, she was a lovely lady I enjoyed her chatting and she also asked about my mom which was nice to hear she would send me and my mom a Christmas card every year I sent her one als….I’ll miss her friendship we had online…you r un a better place with the Lord.
