  2. Bonnie was one of the kindest, sweetest ladies I’ve ever met. Even after I moved out of town, she still would check in on me via Facebook. She always had an encouraging word for me and always an “I Love You”. Bonnie was truly one of a kind and such a sweetheart. I hope her family can find comfort in knowing what an amazing impact she had on so many lives and how she will forever live on in our hearts.

  3. As I write this now, friends and family are gathering together to celebrate
Bonnie. It is 9:20am in Washington state and my thoughts of love go out
to all…..Almost 64 years of friendship we had even if we were almost 3000
miles away… Bonnie leaves an empty space with me. Bless all her family
and California and New York friends…..

  4. Dearest Bonnie Coon family,
I’m so sorry to learn that Bonnie passed. She was the most loving woman & friend of mine on Facebook too. I’ll always remember her hugs when we met at St Matthews, & she was happy to see me with so much love to share. I’m sure she treated everyone very special & not just me. Truly shocking since the last time I saw her she looked just like her obit picture, & she always looked so beautiful. Her family was very blessed, & I know your hearts must be broken. Hopefully, all the love she passed to you will make the world a better place because she was child of God. So sorry, Pam Rice

  5. She was a wonderful lady and I feel honored to have met her. I met her through water hydro-fit in Livonia, My memories are mostly of her and Roma Emery, what a pair they were and I totally enjoyed them. Bonnie was so very thoughtful when I broke my arms and came to see me with Roma. Their company was a blessing at that time. I also remember having lunch one day at Phillip’s European with my son, saw Bonnie there said hello then good-bye and after she left the server came over and said our lunch was paid for and that was the kind of person she was. I am sure she will be watching over all of you and when you’re sad, think of how many people she touched in her lifetime.
    Love to all of you,

  6. To Bonnie’s family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I came to know Bonnie through water aerobics at the pool in Livonia, and have fond memories of chats over coffee afterward with the “girls”. Just in the past few years Bonnie and I became closer and I was happy to count her among my friends. She was a wonderful person, and I will miss her dearly. May your memories of happy times spent together with her sustain you at this difficult time. Farewell, dear Bonnie, say hi to my mom and give her a hug for me…

  7. To Bill and his family: Your Mom was so proud of you. We would see her in the back of St. Matthew’s Church every week and her pride for you was in her eyes and voice. We are so sorry for your loss.

  9. I was blessed to work with Bonnie at Qualcomm back in the good old days and she was definitely my mentor. Bonnie sent me a Valentine’s Day gift just last week and I spoke to her on the phone after many years apart. I feel honored to have know her and believe I will see her again in heaven.

  10. My heart and prayers are with all of you. So many years have passed by, but my memories feel like yesterday.
Growing up, Bonnie (“Mrs. Coons”) was the mom everyone wanted. Having 3 boys and all their friends at her house was never a challenge, everyone was welcome and the shelves in the basement always full of food.(brownies and chocolate chips were the best!) The passion and dedication she had for her family is something she taught all of us to appreciate.
I will always admire what a beautiful and incredibly strong woman you were. I know your love will remain in the hearts of many, especially your wonderful family. May Your spirit continue to guide them and give them strength whenever needed.
    Love ,
    Christina Gonzalez-Connelly and family
