Clifford B. Allison ~ October 29, 2017

Conesus: October 29, 2017, at age 87 years. Predeceased by his loving wife, Mary Miller Allison. The youngest of 23 siblings, survived by his children, Clifford (Cathy) Allison of Lakeville, Larry (Sabrena) Allison of Kansas City, MO., Cary Allison of Rochester, David (Bonnie) Allison of Greece,NY., Lori (David) Hill of Rochester.6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. Sister-in-law, Eula Greene of Grandpion, Pa. Several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

 

Cliff was a resident of the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilation from 2010-2017. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army and the U. S. Navy . He was a gunner on a quad 40  and on the maiden voyage of the USS Coral Sea.

Cliff worked for Eastman Kodak Co. for more than 30 years. After retirement, Cliff drove for  Kemps Bus Service , driving children with special needs to and from school. Cliff loved to smile, laugh and joke around. He also loved old black & white films and loved his family with all his heart. He also was a longtime coach in the southside little league and a dedicated boy scout leader.

Friends may call Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 4 – 8 pm. at Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. 21 Big Tree St. Routes 15 & 20A, Livonia where services will be held Thursday at 11 AM. Burial, Oakridge Cemetery, South Livonia.   2. I worked with Cliff over 17 years ago at Memos Bus Service. He was truly one of the nicest gentleman I have ever known. I loved hearing his stories about anything! My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
