Donald W.Gendreau, formerly of Rochester, died June 28, 2008 in California. Don served during WW II in the Pacific Theater on Iwo Jima. He was a pilot of a P-61, also known as the “Black Spider” in a nitefighter squadron. He returned safely to his very proud family. He is survived by his wife, Connie, 5 children, 10 grandchildren, 7 greatchildren and his only brother Robert O. Gendreau of Honeoye. 1 niece, 5 nephews and their children.

At Donalds request, his service and interment will take place on the family plot in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Wednesday,
