Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Roy James Patterson Sr., Her parents Ruffus and Annie Goodwin Leeper, infant son Jonathan Andrew Patterson, daughter Nadeen Patterson Walsh, son Roy James Patterson II, son in law Scott E. McKay, brother Fredrick Leeper; brother and sister in law Leo and Evelynn Patterson. Survived by children Jill (Jeff) Patterson White, Victoria Patterson, Matthew Patterson Sr, Cynthia (Kenneth) Patterson Akers, Lisa Patterson McKay, Ruth (Tony) Patterson Fountain and son in law Kevin Walsh. 18 Grandchildren: Lorinda (Matt) DeCerbo, Roy (Keri) Patterson III, Nichole Patterson, Ryan (Rachael) Patterson, Jessica (Gerard) Gramkee, Jennifer (Ray) Simzer, Matthew (Samantha) Patterson Jr., Elizabeth (Micah) Godbee, Mark (Kaitlyn) Patterson, Emily Patterson, Stephanie (Patrick) Marshall, Jacinda (Timothy) Hacker, Julia (Bryan) Wheaton, Amanda McKay, Scotty McKay, Gregory Walsh, Meghan Walsh, Johnathan Roy Fountain. 20 Great Grandchildren: Joey and Gina DeCerbo; Brodrick, Lynessa, Lysette, and Brenner Patterson; Arya Patterson; Kiara Gramkee; Raymond, Darryl, and Haile Simzer; Wyatt and Carly Patterson; Maggie and Andrew Godbee; Jack Patterson; Kaila Marshall; Colton Hacker; Morgan and Landon Wheaton. Sister in law Patricia Leeper and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mary was born in East Rochester, NY. In December of 1951 she moved to South Livonia with her husband Roy. Mary and Roy shared 59 ½ years together and raised a family. Mary was a very devoted wife and mother. Mary loved her family and spending time with them. Mary enjoyed painting murals, pictures, saws and mailboxes. Mary was loved by her husband, children, family, and friends. As promised at Psalms 37:11 we will see you again in Paradise on earth. Mary was baptized a Jehovah’s Witness on August 3, 1950. She was one of the original seven who started the Avon, NY Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

You were the best Mother. I miss you so much and can’t wait to sit and talk with you and play cards and drink tea. We had some great laughs though the years. Oh Mom, your a mom anyone would be Proud to have. The Love you had for your family- no mother or wife could have greater. You always had our best interest at heart! You always had our “back”. You gave me your great Love of Jehovah God I’m eternal grateful for that, to know I’ll see you and dad and all my dead love ones here on earth again according to Psalms 37:11 “the meek shall inherit the earth” and John 5:28,29 “those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…did good to resurrection of Life” till then you will be kept in Jehovah’s memory-because you did good.
