Lakeville: Edward T. Trokanski of Lakeville died Wednesday January 11, 2012 at age 91 years at Wesley Gardens in Rochester, NY. He was born in Pennsylvania, October 17, 1920, the son of Charles and Elizabeth Trokanski. He served his country in the US Army during World War II and was a member of the Harrison-Lee American Legion Post 283. He also was a member of the Lakeville Lions Club and St. Matthews Church.
Ed was predeceased by wife, Betty. He is survived by children, Sharon Trokanski (Harry), Marathon, NY, Pamela Trokanski (Patrick), Calif., Mark (Denise) Trokanski,Arizona, Laurie (Carmen) Russo, Rochester, Philip (Suigi) Trokanski, Webster; step children, Ken (Mindy) Stokesberry, Calif., Steven (Mary Jo) Stokesberry, Gates, Gary Stokesberry (Diane), Rochester,Mike (Sharon) Stokesberry,Rochester, Philip (Sandy) Stokesberry,Livonia. 19 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. Special friends, Colleen & Ray Henry.
Friends are invited to his Funeral Mass, Saturday, 1 PM, at St. Matthews Church, Route 20A, Livonia. Burial, with Military Honors, St. Michael’s Cemetery. I was a good friend of Ed at Wesley Gardens. I can honestly say that I did not have as much fun with anyone but Ed. May he rest in peace.
I very much cared for Ed. Was a joy taking care of him at Wesley Gardens until his last days. He will always have a fond place in my life. God bless him and his family. Eddy, you will be missed my friend.
