Livonia: Donald J. Wolf, 83 years, of Lakeville Estates formerly of Pennemite Road, Livonia, NY, died Wednesday January 4, 2012, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. He was born in Rochester, NY, November 15, 1928 the son of Edward J. and Margaret Wolf. Don served his country in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1950 – 1954. Prior to retirement, he was employed as an administrative engineer at Sybron Corp. Don was avid hunter and bird watcher who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and maintained an extensive bottle collection as a member of the Genesee Valley Bottle Collectors. He also was a member of St. Matthews Church in Livonia and the Livonia Historical Society.

Don was predeceased by his wife, Bernice Connell Wolf on February 6, 2005. He is survived by his children, Donald (Sheila) Wolf of Livonia, Jayne (Dale) Landl of Lima and Mary Jo (David) Hollinghead of Livonia. 7 grandchildren. his sisters, Margaret Dingfelder of Florida, and Doris (Donald) Clar of LeRoy. several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Sunday, 1 – 4 PM at Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. Routes 15 & 20A, 21 Big Tree St. Livonia. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, 10 AM, at St. Matthews Church, Route 20A, Livonia, with Rev. John H. Hayes officiating. Burial, St. Michaels Cemetery.
