Livonia: August 24, 2011 at age 57 years at home with his family. Predeceased by parents Ronald & Bernice Wright and brother Ronnie Wright. Survived by his wife of 34 years Heidi and children: Sarah (Jeremy) Manley of Caledonia, Emily (Walter) Banach of Syracuse, and Jacob Wright of Springfield, MO. Grandchildren; Marlee Manley and Addisyn Wright. Brothers: Terry (Theresa) Wright of Ocala, FL, Tom (Vicki) Wright of Penfield, and Steve Wright of Tacoma, WA. Also survived by Nieces & Nephews, Cousins, and many friends.

Gary was born January 15, 1954 to Ronald and Bernice (Coates) Wright in Rochester, NY. He graduated from Gates-Chili High School and he was a self employed carpenter and contractor for many years. He married his best friend and love of his life, Heidi, on April 23, 1977. Gary and Heidi enjoyed the outdoors, camping, riding their ATV’s, and spending time together. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed his hunting trips all over the country. Gary fought a battle with cancer for the last four years. He was strong to the end and passed at his home surrounded by his family. He loved his family, children, and grandchildren. Gary too was the love of Heidi’s life and will be greatly missed.

Calling will be on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree St., Rte 15 &20a, where services will be held on Saturday morning at 10:30am.
