Conesus: Michael W. “Jock” Wells, of Conesus died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at Noyes Hospital in Dansville, NY after a lengthy illness. He was born in Rochester, NY September 13, 1954 the son of William and Kathleen Manning Wells. He was a graduate of Gates-Chili Central School. An avid sports enthusiast , Jock excelled at performing at several different sports, and, of course, he was a colorful fan as time went on.

Jock is survived by his children, Ian (Donna) Wells of Conesus, Ashley (Ted) Barber of Livonia, and Lissa Wells ( Pat Norton) of Leicester. 6 grandchildren, Holly, Austin, Mya, McKenzie, Mason, and Bentley. Brother, Patrick ((Joanne) Wells of Webster, NY. Mother of his children, Loren Tripp of Groveland, NY. Several nieces and nephews.
