Erv Lincourt, 82, of Honeoye, NY passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024, surrounded by family. Erv was born to Herman and Thelma (Barnhart) Lincourt on November 17, 1941, in Rochester, NY along with siblings Norm (d), Betty (d), Tom, Tim, Ray (d), and Renee.
Erv is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Jill Wheat as well as his children Mechele Trieste Markajani, Kathee Conte, Damon (Hillary) Lincourt, Robert (Jennifer) Runge, Maria (Steve) Patten, and Sonya (Jameson) Coker; grandchildren Christine (George) Carvell and Jennifer Lincourt (Jonathon Strong), Donald Runge, Douglas Runge and great-granddaughter Elise Carvell.
Erv attended Rush-Henrietta schools and served in the US Army as a door gunner in Vietnam where he received the rank of sergeant and was awarded a Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster. Erv went on to work for Kodak and moved his family to Colorado where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with the family. After working as a deputy sheriff for the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado, he returned to Rochester, NY where he worked for, and retired from, the United States Post Office.

Burial with full military honors, will commence at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 30, at the New York State Veteran’s Cemetery in Romulus, NY.
