I worked with Don for a number of years at Monroe Litho. In the summer, my family would visit Ellie and him at their home in Honeoye. It was the first experience I had at water skiing. It took a while, but finally was able to stand up on the skis! Dons patients were incredible. We had visited them at their cottage for a few years, for a picnic and some water sports.
I always remember thinking afterwards how Don & Ellie always made us feel good about ourselves.
Don was a great father figure to me, and will be sorely missed.
The Veterans Outreach Center extends our deepest sympathy in Donald’s passing.
We acknowledge and are truly grateful for his service to our country.
Uncle Donald was such a kind and gentle soul with a beautiful smile, a heart of gold and an infectious laugh. I always loved being in the same room with my grandma Helen and her brothers and sisters. Uncle Donald always had a way to make her laugh. The Milligan clan was a big part of my growing up. Condolences to Cliff and Steven and your family.
