Joseph “Joe” J. Alfieri ~ April 15, 2024

Livonia: At age 94, Joe passed away peacefully on Monday, April 15, 2024, at the Corning Hospital in Corning, NY. He was born on December 8, 1929, to the late John and Tina Alfieri in Warsaw, NY. Joe is predeceased by his son, Eric (Ellen) Alfieri; and his sister, Dorothy Cofield, and sister-in-law, Sharron Alfieri. Survived by his loving daughter, Anna M. (Ralph) Servati; his siblings, Anna Batzold; and Thomas Alfieri, along with his 3 grandchildren Phillip (Lauren) Servati, Tim Servati, Tara (Brett) Wheeler. Great grandchildren, Luke and Tori Wheeler. Many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Shortly after his education in Warsaw, NY, Joe went on to proudly serve his country by joining the US Army during the Korean War. After the War, Joe came home and worked for the Town of Wyoming Cty and then moved on to a new career with Pennwalt Corporation in Rochester, NY. Joe was an avid hunter and very proud of his gun collection. He had a passion for motorcycles and traveled throughout the country with friends. Spending time with his family and visiting with friends at Minnehans is what Joe enjoyed the most.
Joe spent his last months at the VA in Bath, NY where he was compassionately cared for.

A Memorial Service and Military Honors will take place at 11 AM on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 21 Big Tree Street in Livonia, NY.   2. Sorry to hear this,he use to be friends with. my dad and came to their deli Jay Dee’s. He would look for me when I worked at Walmart and always asked about my mom and husband. Such a kind man

  9. So sorry to hear about Joe. Was on some of the rides with the group from the Hawgbarn. Used to see him at Minnehans once in awhile. Condolences to his family.
