  1. My condolences to the family.. John was a wonderful neighbor.. He will be sorely missed.. 🙁

  2. My thoughts are with his children who he loved very much. I will miss the beautiful cards and many phone conversations and visits we shared over the years. RIP my dear John Boy.

  3. John was an awesome and kind friend to my mom Beverly over the many years they knew each other. They each would help the other out with whatever was needed.

I personally appreciated John checking in on my mom although I didn’t like seeing his name come up on my phone as that meant my mom was on her way to the hospital! He was always there for her and I as well as several other members of their tight knit community.

He will be missed but the memories live on.

  4. John was a wonderful neighbor who helped all of us. He plowed the snow, mowed the grass and picked up our mail. He was always there when needed.we will always miss him.

  5. John was my Mom’s neighbor in Honeoye. She was part of his “mail route” so he popped in many times a week. Peter and I always looked forward to seeing him while we were at Mom’s. He was such a sweet man with many great stories. We could talk to him for hours. We all missed him very much when he sold his house and now will think of him fondly until we see him again one day. We are thinking of the family.

  6. I always enjoyed talking to John at the Canadice church and worked beside him at our functions. He will be missed!
