  3. We had a great 4th grade at the Hemlock School thanks to Mrs. Gerken. She smiled often and was very kind. It has been lots of years since then but I can still picture her hair swinging back and forth as we followed her up the stairs to our classroom. Condolences Lou Ann to you and your family.

  5. Anna Lou was my teacher, I called her Mrs Gerken and always enjoyed her as a teacher. She was a great lady and later in life when she married my friend Bus we had many good visits. She will be missed and always remembered… Mike West

  6. It is hard seeing so many of our LCS classmates and “around-the-town” affiliates going to be with the Lord lately. But, that is the age we all are. My parents,
George & Virginia Ziegler were friends with Frank Hamlin, Anna Lou was one of the prettiest LCS graduates, and we bought all our chevrolets from Bus over my
growing up years. Many were pleased when Anna Lou and Bus united to live out their senior years. She was, indeed, all the nice things people said about her. Ron and
Phyllis lived in my former home at 85 Main Street before moving to FL. I am thankful for these nice connections. May your also be filled with good memories. I extend my sincere condolences. Lonnie Ziegler Westfall
