He was born March 3, 1942, in the Town of Richmond to the late Ralph and Tessie Angelo. In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his siblings; Thomas Angelo, Fran VanDeBogart, Rachel Harris-Thayer, and Ann Schunk. He is survived by his loving partner of 19 years, Marsha Broniman. Bill retired from Eastman Kodak after working for thirty years as a supervisor and Master Planner. After Bill retired, he worked for Honeoye Central School, coaching boys modified baseball and JV basketball. When he wasn’t coaching, he was refereeing basketball and umpiring baseball and softball. Bill was the ultimate sportsman whether it was coaching, playing, spectating, or umpiring. He was a staple at all sporting events supporting family and Honeoye athletes. And, of course, Bill was known as a diehard Yankee fan. As a sportsman he was also an avid hunter and spent endless hours training and racing dogs alongside his son and brothers. One of his greatest joys was spending time with family. Very rarely would you see him out and about without one of his brothers. This loss will be felt greatly by his family, friends, and the entire Honeoye Community. His contagious beautiful smile will be missed by all of us who deeply loved him.

I am sorry for your loss of dear Billy.
I think of Billy when he was a teenager playing Varsity Sports at HCS. A Major League Baseball Scout came to HCS to watch Billy pitch.
Even this year Billy and I visited about those days. He smiled and talked about his sister collecting newspaper clippings of his sports accomplishments.
Rest in Peace, Billy. You will be remembered fondly.
Sincere sympathy,

Whoever wrote this did a marvelous job. This describes Billy to the T. My heartfelt condolences to all his family and close friends. He was certainly a larger than life character in Honeoye and the surrounding area. It was pleasure knowing him and having him coach my son to, not 1, but 2 undefeated seasons of baseball.
