Conesus Lake-Geneseo: Thelma D. Durbin, 92 years. of Clearview Drive, Geneseo, NY formerly of Conesus Lake died early Sunday morning at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. She was born in Rochester, NY September 6, 1918, the daughter of John and Martha Goetz Devine. She was predeceased by her husbands, Robert Smearing in 1962 and Ralph Durbin in 2009. She was a member of the former St. Josephs Church in Livonia, and St. Matthews Church in Livonia, and the Conesus Golden Years Club. She was an avid bowler for over 50 years.

She is survived by her 3 sons: Robert (Lee) Smearing of Morristown, TN., Thomas (Marlee) Smearing of Rochester Hills, MI. and Martin (Judy) Smearing of Livonia. 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. her brother-in-law, Walter (Gladys) Smearing. several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Wednesday, 2-4, 7-9 PM at Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. Routes 15 & 20A, 21 Big Tree St. Livonia. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 11 AM at St. Matthews Church, Route 20A, Livonia, with the Rev. John H. Hayes officiating. Spring Burial, Lakeview Cemetery, Groveland.
