Pamela Emery Noveck – September 21, 2023

Kernersville, NC/Livonia, NY:  At age 59, Pam passed peacefully on September 21, 2023 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC.  She was born on October 20, 1963 in Rochester, NY to the late Richard “Dick” and Roma (Colburn) Emery.  Survived by children; Tess Noveck of Kernersville, NC, Alexis (Isaac) Hampton of Yadkinville, NC, and Eric Noveck of Livonia; siblings, Michele (John) Coakley of NC and Suzanne Emery of Rochester.  Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pam spent 5 years in the US Army as a heavy construction equipment operator.  Her tour of duty included stints in Germany (where two of her children,Tess & Eric, were born)  and Rwanda. Pam was a kind soul that loved all animals- she was never far from her beloved dog Mitzi. Pam cherished time spent with family and friends. Some of the best parties included boisterous laughter over a game of cards. While living in Rochester and Greensboro, she loved going to dance studios and dancing it out to her favorite rock tunes.  Her children were the love of her life and she joyously got to see her middle child, Alexis, marry in her last days.   We all learned to be kinder and more appreciative of all the simple pleasures of life through Pam’s lead. Please think of Pammie when you see a daisy.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, September 28th, from 5-7pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree Street, Rte 15 & 20A, Livonia, NY.  Pam’s Funeral will be held at 10am on Friday, September 29th, at the United Methodist Church of Livonia, 21 Summers Street, Livonia.  Burial, with military honors, will follow at Union Cemetery, Livonia.  A luncheon will follow the burial at Fellowship Hall at the church, all are welcome.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929, online at www.aspca.org or to 1 of US (cancer support organization) at 8024 Glenwood Ave, Suite 200, Raleigh, NC 27612, online at www.1ofus.org  To send a condolence or share a memory please visit:  www.doughertyfuneralhomes.com
