South Livonia: Pat Sharpe, 95 years, of South Livonia Road, South Livonia, NY, died Monday, January 31, 2011 at Highland Hospital, Rochester, where she had been a patient for the past week. She was born in South Livonia, December 22, 1915 the daughter of Jerome and Jessie Kennedy Simpson., In 1972, her husband, Donald predeceased her. Also, predeceasing her was her siblings, Geraldine Kiehle, Jean Fox, Claude Simpson and Edward Simpson. Pat was a life long member of the South Livonia United Church of Christ. She was active in many organizations including the Women’s Kennell Club, National Womens Bowling Tourament where she served as a delegate, many senior groups where she enjoyed thier many bus trips and card games. A member of the American Kennel Club, at one time she operated Pat’s Poodles & Stud Service. An avid sports fan and player (bowling & golf), she enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills and never missed the opportunity to watch her grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate in their school sports and college games whether home or on the road. Pat was also a long time Grange member.

She is survived by her children, Edward (Leslie) Sharpe of Hemlock and Karen Moran of South Livonia. 8 grandchildren,Donna Hritz, Marty and Ken Sharpe, Kaitin, Casey, Shane, and Brendan Moran and Troy Rossborough. 8 great grandchildren, Aden, Kevin, Andy, Emily, Ryan, Jacqueline, Kimberly and Michael. her sister, Velma Simpson of San Diego, CA. Many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday 4-7 PM at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. Routes 15 & 20A, 21 Big Tree St. Livonia. Funeral services will be held Saturday at the South Livonia United Church of Christ, Route 15, South Livonia at 1 PM with Rev. Sue Forsythe officiating.
