George W. Mitchell, 90 years, of Manitou Road, Spencerport, NY died Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Westgate Nursing Home in Chili. He was born in Rochester, NY December 29, 1920. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a lens grinder at Bausch-Lomb in Rochester, where met his late wife, Beverly.George was a ham radio operator, an avid bird watcher and photographer. He also enjoyed travelling and collecting stamps.

Survivors include his siblings, William Mitchell and Gertrude Langen. Also, many nieces and nephews.
