Robert A. Wolter Sr. “Bob” – December 27, 2022

Livonia:  At age 70, Robert A. Wolter Sr. passed peacefully on December 27, 2022 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY.  Bob was born on January 30, 1952 in Rochester, NY to the late Arthur and Dolores (Dick) Wolter. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Sharon (Sweeney) Wolter and children; Suzette Wolter, Michelle (Mike Damon) Wolter, and Robert A. (Kristy) Wolter Jr., all of Livonia; grandchildren, Anthoné Willis, Brittney Wolter, Brianna Wolter, and Trent Willis; siblings, Kenneth (Jan) Wolter Sr. of GA and Steven Wolter (Betsy Pudvah) of GA; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Bob lived in Livonia his whole life. He worked at Kodak (Roll Coating) before opening his own business, Countrytown Carpets, in Livonia.  He installed carpet for over 40 years in many homes around the local area. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed NASCAR, music and hunting.  His loyalty and dedication to family and friends were unmatched.  Bob will be missed by everyone with whom he called friends. At his request, we will not hold calling hours or have a funeral. Family will gather this spring to spread his ashes where he can watch over his favorite hunting spot and enjoy the outdoors as he loved to do. We appreciate everyone’s support as we mourn the loss of our husband, our father, our bumpa, and our friend.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Livonia Ambulance, PO Box 8, Livonia, NY 14487.  To send a condolence or share a memory please visit:  www.doughertyfuneralhomes.com
