  1. Dan and Dave,

We have a camp in Redfield and met your Mom and Dad years ago when they relocated to Redfield. We were saddened to hear of your dad’s passing when we got to camp this past weekend. Your Dad!! What an amazing guy! He would walk into the Square, look at the bartender, point at us, and give her a “drinks up” signal! It was always a race to see who could get the first round. He was such a joy to be around. His quiet demeanor, dry and wry sense of humor, made him loved by everyone. We will cherish the old stories, corny jokes, and simple conversations. He will be missed by all.

  2. We are a little poorer without Uncle Don here. His enthusiastic love of family camaraderie impressed my youth with an image of what a good life looks like. We were blessed that he was in our lives and showed us how to care, how to love, and how to have fun doing it! We are sorry for your loss and know he is in a better place. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

  3. So sorry for your loss. I grew up with Don in DuBois and also lived with him and several other Pennsylvanians on Fulton Avenue so many years ago. After a few years we parted ways, all going in different directions.

I still have many memories of the good old days.

  4. Danny and Dave,

I am so very sorry for the loss of your Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Uncle Donny is in heaven with Aunt Jean celebrating there reunion. I am so sorry I can’t make it to the funeral due to work obligations. Again deepest sympathy for your loss.
