Kenneth “Ken” C. Alexander ~ September 12, 2022

Nunda:  At age 52, Ken passed away with his family by his side on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.  He was born in Rochester, NY to Keith and Barbara Alexander.  Ken is predeceased by his father; Keith C. Alexander.  Survived by the love of his life; Kelly A. Hogan, his mother; Barbara Alexander, his children; James (Tanya) McGregor, Jeffrey McGregor, Justin (Emily) Dean,  Joshua Dean, and Ashley Dean, his sisters; Karen (Dave) Coty, Kay (Tom) Kouvatsos, his grandchildren; Maddie Gresty, Trinity Dean, Conor Dean, Brooke McGregor, and Jacob McGregor, his nephew; Richard Alexander and nieces; Katrina (Justin) Helmus, Eleni Kouvatsos (Stuart Gates), and Stephanie Kouvatsos (Victor Chan), along with his great niece; Penelope Helmus.

Everyone who knew Kenny knew that he was a one-of-a-kind guy. He told it like it was, and didn’t care if it was offensive, but he was also there for anyone who needed him. He loved his family and his friends, and made sure you knew it. Ken served his country proudly, and continued that patriotism throughout his life. Everyone knew that Richard Petty was one of his idols, and if he wasn’t sitting on the couch watching nascar, he was out in the woods hunting, or in the garage messing around with his three-wheeler collection.

Friends and family are invited to call from 4-7PM on Monday, September 19, 2022 at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 21 Big Tree Street in Livonia, NY.  Military Honors and Interment Services will take place at 11AM on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Greenmount Cemetery, on Greenmount Avenue in Dansville, NY.  Memorial Contributions may be made to:  Patriot Guard Riders New York, Attn: Treasurer, PO Box 637, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590 or to:  Honor Flight Rochester, Inc., PO Box 23581, Rochester, NY 14692.  To share a memory or a condolence, please visit:  www.doughertyfuneralhomes.com.
