Canadice: At age 61, Brian passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at his home in Canadice. He was born in Rochester, NY to Maurice G. Lowe and the late Carol A. Lowe.
Brian was a loving and very proud father of three. He was a contractor, a builder and, more precisely, a craftsman, not only with beautiful spaces he created, but with the way he made you feel in his presence. His hugs enveloped you with warmth and acceptance. He was humble, kind, and very hard working. He was quick to smile and made everyone feel welcomed and valued. He is survived by his children Andrew (Drew) Lowe, Matthew (Matt) Lowe, and Benjamin (Ben) Lowe; their mom Diane Lindsay; his father Maurice; his brother Tim; his brother Ron; his sister Barb (Mark Bennett) Lowe and their two children Brendon and Carol; and a number of extended family, children and grandchildren. Brian was predeceased by his mother, Carol A. Lowe (Wheaton), and his brothers James (Jim) and Thomas (Tom).
Friends and family are invited to call from 4-6 PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 8624 Main Street in Honeoye. To share a memory or condolence, please visit: www.doughertyfuneralhomes.com
I look around my house and see the wonderful workmanship throughout my house thanks to Brian and his partner at the time. We are talking 20 years ago or so. He was so good at what he did, never on time, but that was Brian. Lost touch with him unfortunately, but Brian will always be remembered. Condolences to the family.
