  1. Bryan, Felix and Family. Thinking of you during this difficult time. Praying you all find peace.

  2. Even though we haven’t spoken since high school/working at Bells Supermarket, I was very sad to hear this news. My prayers go out to her family and friends. Will always remember your smile and wit.

  3. I’ve moved away, and we stayed in touch by distance, but Julie was always one I tried to connect with when home. When my Dad died 7 years ago, you came to the calling hours. You said “I hope you realize what this means; I don’t DO funerals.”

I’ve come to realize how much that really meant.

You are sorely missed, my friend.

  4. Dear Brian, Felix and Family,
I am sorry for your loss. It was easy to see how much Julie loved Felix when she brought him to Meet and Greet. She happily told me all about the things Felix loves to do. In time, I hope happy memories bring each of you peace.

  5. When I started Rural Metro in 2000, Julie and I immediately got along. She and Darcy nicknamed me “Buttercup”, and it stuck for years to follow. Anytime we bumped into one another or messaged each other over the years, it was like no time had gone by. My thoughts and prayers are with Bryan, Kelly and the rest of her family. Not forgetting our EMS family too.

  6. Bryan and family, my deepest sympathy with the passing of your wife and mother. Julie was a lovely person.

  7. We’ve known Julie since she was born. She has accomplished so much in short life and will be truly missed by all who knew her. Julie is now at peace and we pray her family too will find peace .
    Love
    Alan & Barb

  9. I had the pleasure to work with Julie at National Ambulance for several years. I am very sorry for your loss.

  10. We were never close but I had great respect for your Paramedic skills and leadership. You will be missed

  11. Oh my dear Julie, I pray you know how much you were loved. I will never forget those nights out in the streets of Rochester, we shared good times…and bad calls..I missed you when you left. We talked after but life seemed to get in the way. When we talked, your voice just lit up when you talked about your babies. They were your world. They are strong and beautiful and your family, blood and EMS, will do all we can to help them. After all your family. I remember when my grandbabies were born and you called and said to come to your garage sale in Leroy and help myself to all the stuff Felix didn’t need any longer. My heart melted. The Long talkes at Lake/state/Lyell at 0300, we shared stories of calls/relationships and family. I won’t ever forget those talks. Rest easy my dear friend and as I look up at that sky at night on post, we will have those talks again. Love you Lady…

  12. Rest easy Julie. You were a wonderful coworker and leader with your knowledge and compassion.

  13. I have so many memories of Julie from over the years We both worked together at Rural Metro. I had to sit in the com center and she gave me the how it works lesson. I enjoyed her sassy attitude and no bull approach.
My last memory of Julie was last year , 2021. She was working as a Zoll Rep for Life Vests and I was working at Strong in Cardiology. I was fortunate to catch up with her and grab a coffee. I am thankful for that meeting. Had I known it was the last time I would have seen you, I would have hugged you just a little longer. Still so very grateull to have had you in my life.
    Thank you Julie
