Honeoye: At age 84, Bob passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, July 1, 2022 at his home in Livonia. He was born in Rochester, NY to the late Joseph and Evenlyn Clar. Survived by his beloved wife; Joy V. Clar, his children; Ed (Joell) Clar, Chrissy (Bill) Parker, Patty (John) Tinker, Bob (Debbie) Clar, Brenda Hoy, Robert (Patty) Kuhn, Timothy (Wendy) Kuhn, Lisa Joy (Tom) Lennon, Eric (Karen) Kuhn, and Ronald (Brandi) Kuhn, his brothers; James (Rita) Clar and William (Nancy) Clar, his loving brother-in-law; John R. Shackelford, his 22 grandchildren, his 19 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends, along with his faithful, loving cats; Bailey and Ernie.

Friends and family are invited to call from 4-6PM on Monday, July 11 2022 at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 8624 Main Street in Honeoye, where Bob’s memorial service and military honors will immediately follow at 6PM.   5. So sorry to hear of Uncle Bob’s passing. He was always one of our funny uncles cracking jokes and played a great baseball game at our family picnics! You are all in our thoughts and prayers!

I will never forget how you wouldn’t let me walk down inspiration point at my wedding while John waited at the bottom and you climbed the hill and walked me down.
