Herbert “Herb” R. Miller ~ August 24, 2021

South Lima:  At age 76, Herb passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at his home in South Lima, New York.  He was born in Rochester, NY to the late Grover and Rose Miller.  Herb is predeceased by his wife; Rose Marie Miller, and children; Barry and Craig Quackenbush.  Survived by his siblings; Gus Miller, Ronnie (Ann) Miller and Sonia Miller, his children; Dale and Brent (Shelley) Quackenbush and his 6 grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

In Keeping with Herb’s wishes, no formal funeral services will take place at this time.  Interment will be held privately at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Lima , NY.  To share a memory or a condolence, please visit:  www.doughertyfuneralhomes.com

  1. Work with Herb at Dorschel always a smile and a kind hello or a wave .always talked about his wife never a bad thing to say about anyone.he will be missed

  2. Our family is deeply saddened and heartbroken that Herbie passed away. He was the best next door neighbor and a wonderful friend. We will miss chatting with him in the driveway or on the porch. South Lima won’t be the same without him. He loved his wife, Rose very much. May he rest in peace with her by his side.

  3. Very sorry to hear of Herb’s passing. I’ve only met him a few times, but really enjoyed his company. He always mentioned his wife and how much he missed her. May they be together in peace and harmony.

  8. I didn’t know Herb for many years but I did enjoy Herb’s company at the Livonia Legion. Always had something nice to say, good sense of humor and was pleasant to talk to. Fly high Herbie. May his memories live on and comfort those who knew and loved him!
