A beautiful life that came to an end – She died as she lived everyone’s friend – in our hearts a memory will always be kept – of one we loved and will never forget. We are very sorry for your loss.
My heart weeps for the whole Wander family. All we can say is that she was a wonderful person, Whenever we would go the the Wander house or see Mrs Wander out the warmth we felt was like no other. Marian had that gift to make everyone she came in contact with feel this way. Loved.
Marian will be missed in the human world but we bet the heavens are having a party knowing she is now a part of theirs.
God bless
I first met Marian and Alan at Wegmans Geneseo in the late 1990’s when
working in the lot. She’d come in to do the shopping and Alan would stay in their car with that sweet pup of theirs at the time. Loved them both, Marian would always have time over the years to stop and laugh with me when she stopped in the store.. A wonderful sweet lady I’ll never forget. Death takes the body. God takes the soul. Our minds hold the memories. Our heart keeps the love. Our faith lets us know we will meet again. See you again Marian and Alan… 🙂
Marion Wander was the epitome of kindness, joy and love. She was a shining star in the darkness. She made everyone that entered her home feel welcome. She truly was one of a kind. My deepest sympathies to all the Wander family.
Marilou, George & The Wander Family,

I will always remember Aunt Marian as such a loving person with a joyful, caring nature. I feel that it was a blessing to have known her. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
Although she was not our Mom she treated us as her children and we called her “Mom”. She was a wonderful lady!!!!!
Aunt Marian (I’m proud to say my godmother) was the sweetest lady! She always led with her warm smile and her welcoming ways. I felt good when I was around her. She was a woman who knew how to take the slings and arrows of life in stride. Heaven is lucky to have her
