  1. Aunt Dot was always young-at-heart – she could shake a leg on the dance floor and take joy at remembering everyone’s birthday whether it be her own children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren or her nieces and nephews. She loved life and it was an infectious love. I know all of us Coon kids will miss her greatly.

  2. Thoughts and prayers to the entire Gotham family. Dottie will be missed by many. She was such a happy, kind and giving person. Always with a smile and kind word.
A definite asset to the Lake Country Garden Club where I first met her, and her entire community.
My sincere condolences to her family.

  3. We have lost a family treasure and the last of a generation of amazing aunts and uncles. She lived a full life and touched so many in her 97 years. We will always have the memories of her thoughtfulness and kindness and all she did to keep us connected. Our birthdays and anniversaries will not be the same without a card or email from Aunt Dottie but we will think of her and keep her in our hearts on those days as always. She will be dearly missed by all.

  4. Dot was a wonderful sister-in-law who welcomed me into the Gotham family with open arms. Through the years she has helped me in so many ways, both as friend and nurse. Although we haven’t seen each other often since she moved to the lake we have kept in touch always. She was definitely a strong woman with a soft heart. I shall miss her dearly.

  5. Don and have fond memories of Dottie as our neighbor. I always enjoyed talking with her at church and garden club activities.

  6. If we tallied up all the birthday cards Aunt Dottie mailed her 28 Isaac nieces and nephews for the past 80+ years, her financial fortune could have been massive had she not loved us all so much with that one small gesture. Now we inherit a richer treasure … family memories and unconditional love. We are now the matriarchs and patriarchs of Joe and Elsie’s family. May we all pass on our proud family heritage, along with our virtues of faith, hope, and charity, to our next generations. Aunt Dottie, may you rest in peace knowing your life mattered in so many ways, and we will remember you always because of your caring. Lisa, Craig, and Sheila, I will hold your sadness in my heart until the day I can hold you in my arms.
